    I didn't see a beer travel forum, so I'll post here (mods please move if necessary). Is anyone going to be at the Great British Beer Festival - Winter coming up tn Feb 17-18? Located in the hsitoric city of Burton-on-Trent, known as the birthpalce of Bristish brewing. Looking forward to a selection of all cask offerings (150+).

    Had a look, every hotel room in Burton on Trent is sold out. The nearest available is in Derby, 7-8 km away. I won't be there.

    My dad’s Funeral is on the 17th, it might be the distraction I need, it might be completely beyond me, I’ll need to check trains too
