I installed some hooks into my garage ceiling and used a cheap hoist to lift the keg into the keezer. It was still a big pain to get it in their by myself. I hit one of the faucets and poured beer all over the floor and scraped up my collar and tore the sealing edge a little.

Any tips for getting these heavy ass kegs in my keezer?

i have a shelf built from some scrap six by that was used for the collar. just two pieces that go between the collar on the end where the hump is. really just put there because i couldn't put a keg on the hump and figured i could keep various bits and pieces like a faucet wrench, BLC, brush etc. within easy reach.

if i need to load a 1/2 barrel i hoist the keg onto the collar, then settle it on the shelf, then finally drop it into place. but it is just an absolute cluster trying to get a half barrel into the beast. standing on a stool helps with the dead drop a bit but only a little.

no good solution. even with a helper it is a show. a chain hoist has got to be the best thing.
    Cheers.
