My Friend is going to Cincinnati on 3/22 for the weekend and wants to get some Beer we don't have here. ( Chicago area ) What should he be looking to get and were is a good place to find it? Is Fat Head's easy to get in that area?
    THANKS Bob

Jungle Jims in Fairfield (suburb of Cincinnati), has a great selection. The Party Source in Bellevue, Kentucky (right across the river from Cincinnati) has a great selection as well. As far as the Fat Head's, your buddy should have no trouble finding Head Hunter...even my local grocery store has it.

I'd stick with Jungle Jim's - there's one in the Northern suburbs (Fairfield) and another on the East side of town (Eastgate). Fat Heads is not distributed in KY so you would not find it at Party Source. White Rajah IPA from Brew Kettle is another good choice - don't think that's available in Chicago.

Dutch's Bar & Bottle Shop has an incredible selection & a bar attached, which usually has a few great taps!

Jungle Jim's would be worth a visit even if they didn't have a great beer selection. I could wander around that place for hours.

I've never seen it in Cincy or Dayton.

No Columbus IPA in Cincy. Stopped by Jungle Jim's this afternoon (one in Eastgate) and they are well stocked for Fat Head's Headhunter. They also just got a shipment of Stone Enjoy By IPA - don't think Illinois was in last distribution for Enjoy By IPA. They have a big display of Alchemy Hour DIPA from Great Lakes. They also have several cases of Nugget Nectar left.

I just noticed the date of 3/22 in original post - Enjoy By IPA will probably be gone, but safe bet all the others I mentioned will still be in stock.
