Going to Livingston, NJ next week. Anything worth seeking out?

Bottle King in Livingston is a great beer destination. Ask for Matt and he will take care of you.
Liquor Outlet in Boonton has one of the better overall selections in NNJ and is a 15-20 minute drive.
If you are heading up (or down) the Parkway/Turnpike to or from Philly, Joe Canals in Woodbridge (just off the parkway) has growler fills and may have Carton Boat and 077XX cans. You may get lucky with some Kane offerings on tap also (Head High and Single Fin were on last week).
Other than Kane and Carton, I am not sure what you can't get in Philly that you can in NJ, although everything here will cost substantially less.

 

Yeah, you're not gonna find much in Jersey that you can't find in Philly. However, as @GoGators suggests, things will cost a lot less here. His suggestions are good - BK Livingston is solid, and Liquor Outlet in Boonton is top notch. It seems like you're primarily interested in stores, but if you want to hit a bar or two, Cloverleaf isn't more than a few minutes from Livingston and always has some good stuff available. Lastly, if you're down for a drive, you can always hit up Kane and Carton down the shore and fill some growlers or pick up cans at Carton.

 

Not sure when you'll be out in NJ, but keep in mind Kane is only open on Friday and Saturday

 

The Cloverleaf is within striking distance. Great place. Bar, but some great stuff on tap you may not see.

 

According to seekabrew Blue Mountain Dark Hollow, Bolero Snort's recent offerings are solid (longhop and Grazer), DC Brau? Don't you guys get them? if not Citizen, Penn Quarter, Public and Corruption should be plentiful, Epic has some decent stuff out...Escape to CO is really nice, I doubt you'd find any Big Bad Baptist hanging around though. Cloverleaf is a great option, they get preferential treatment and some of the best stuff on draft in the state.
