I'm going to be staying in Rutland for a few days and I'd love to check out a bottle shop or two while I'm there. Last time I didn't get in until around 8pm and a lot of places were closed, plus I didn't know my way around. I've been to Vermont before and I've had the chance to check out Burlington, Waterbury, Greensboro, and some of the other places for beer but I'm not going to be able to travel that far. If anyone knows of a decent shop in south-central VT (preferably 30 min. away or less from Rutland) let me know. Not looking for a bar, just a bottle shop. Thanks!

    Terrill St.

There used to be a 2nd one, but looks like they've shut down.

Drive down Route 7 to Manchester. It's a straight shot about a half-hour away, has some great scenery, and a pretty sweet craft selection at Manchester Discount Beverage.

Have to pipe in...i know you said you're not looking for a bar, but just in case, Table 24 is the beer bar of choice in Rutland. Pretty good food and half decent tap selection, definitely best in the area i've experienced (those who know rutland know what I'm talking about).
Not worth the trip to Manchester or Ludlow for those bottle stores...Terrill St. has a good selection and growler station as well. Nothing against the Manchester or Ludlow stores, just not worth the drive imho...
