I could've made a killing if I would've simply brought some hay to sell to these ppl to keep all their mules fed during the wait...

Show me a Chicago beer geek that has never brought a mule to a release and I'll show you a Chicago beer geek that has no friends.

A man and a mule just got into a car with Wisconsin plates with bottles in hand. Fellow FIBs, we're officially off the hook.

When I picked up my bottle at 11:45 they had 105 wrist bands left and had given one to everyone in line at that point

Lots of us don't use mules so please don't generalize. I could also care less if someone brings a mule. I agree it's kind of a douche move at a 360 bottle release in Chicago, but people can do what they want.

Oh I totally agree and it really doesn't surprise or bother me in the slightest.. That being said, it is still amusing to see multiple mom's with babies in tow waiting in line for beer... But then again maybe they're actually here to grab it for themselves, not for a significant other...

I have no issue with mules and have used them in the past. What I still have no time for is the shit heads that roll up 5 minutes before the door opens, driving, lets say, a Monte Carlo, and walk straight to the front of the line...people that have started and finished their transactions before 98% of the people that have been standing in line, well over an hour. Fuck those people!

Waiting in line kinda sucked but I got a bottle. But besides the typical beer nonsense, I met a man (well more like kid), a myth, a legend.....playaplaya is in the flesh at clybourn. If your looking for him, look for the 19 year old with bottle in hand thanks to a fake ID. Take it easy on him guys, he's seriously like super young. It was like I dropped @cid and met a figment of my imagination.

As of this money the line is about 30 people. The lady with the wristbands said there is about 80 bottles left.

Just got back from Clybourn - never had a wrist band and I was ~50th in line. Bought a BC snifter as well.

Curious what everyone else is thinking - are you aging your bottles/drinking immediately/planning on a trade?
