I am a really big Goose Island fan. Have they ever made a BCBS Glass or glassware for any of their limited releases - something like RARE or KH? If so, does anyone have any extras they are interested in trading?

I was told by Goose Island that the glass in the picture above does not really exist. They told me that the picture of the glass was created only for the website pictures. Does anyone out there actually have this glass or something similar to it?

the chalice with the silver goose on it is pretty readily available at the Wrigleyville location. I know a few people that have the 6oz(ish) tumblers too. And for the Rare release, I'm pretty sure they had a special glass if you went to the brewpub after Binnys - I didn't go so I'm not positive.

You can order both of these directly from the brew pub -

No link. You can't buy them online yet. Just call one of their brew pubs and they will take your order.

Someone gave you some bad information. A local BA was able to score a couple of these glasses at a garage sale at a local bar a couple of months back. We have been trying to get information on the glass on the right from Ken with Goose Island, but haven't heard anything back yet.

Okay good to know. I figured there had to be more out there. We all have a mission here now. Let's track down the info on the glass!

Thats true, after I posted that picture I looked a little harder and they are different shapes. A very cool glass nonetheless.

The one on the right is a larger more impressive glass, and came at a bargain price ($2 I believe?).

    Cheers!

It may look similar, but it's still not the same glass as in the first picture.

    *already pointed out*

There is also this glass, which was given to the first 100? people at the Black Friday Rare release at GI Clybourn

I don't have a picture of the backside, but it says 'Black Friday' with a picture of a barrel or something. That glass will eventually be posted to GLASSWHALES when I fill it back up with some Rare.

Mark if I had access to a few I'd happily sell them to friends.

However, I got my single one from a generous soul who runs a terrible blog dedicated to showing off his moderately impressive glassware collection.

I will have you know that I dedicated almost 3 minutes of my precious time this morning to learning how to change the header and the background color.

    Getting classier every minute.

Yeah they're pretty bad at updating their site. It still doesn't even say BCBS has been released. And if you look at the picture on the site, it still says 14.5%.

Side note - who the hell can get any sort of a head, let alone that monster they have in the picture?

I think that this is my favorite Goose glass -

I would call it limited - as I've only seen them available once.

Better yet: a FFF mug. Also works for Chocolate Rain.
