Stay at one of the yuppie ritsy places downtown. That’s an easy google search.

The Light Rail runs right beside the Colorado Convention Center, so you can stay anywhere on any of the train routes and get there pretty quickly with no driving.

This is a great idea that opens up the entire south metro hotel scene. There are quite a few affordable yet clean options down this way.

Find a small hotel on East Colfax. Super cheap.

I will say riding the Light rail piss drunk is difficult. Or so I heard.

Tons of hotels within a quick drunken stumble...Hyatt House (literally right there), Grand Hyatt (even closer still), Hotel Teatro (way nicer, and still a two block stumble), Four Seasons Denver (also a two block stumble), AC Le Meridien (about a three block stumble).

I would wait until the GABF hotels open up. It's usually sometime in July. GABF blocks off rooms at the hotels near the conference center and has them at a lower price.

There’s also AirBnB...saw some great prices on nice looking condos in a quick google search, if that’s an option for you.
