Great new bar in Hollywood, FL

    The Tipsy Boar around Young Circle! Awesome beer selection, Palate Wrecker & Double Stout by Green Flash on tap. Oat from Southern Tier, a lot of great stuff and the food was awesome.
    I work at the Quarterdeck on Dania Pier, so I am really posting this as a new fan of the place. It's another Tap 42 esque place, 30 plus taps but its closer to me and I think the food is better.

    This is the home bar for my buddy that works for brown, so yeah, they will be getting good stuff...

    Heard about it and looking forward to checking it out soon. I'm 10 minutes away near downtown Fort Lauderdale. Downtown Hollywood is starting to become a decent spot for craft beer (Tipsy Boar, PRL, Native Tap Room, Mickey Brynes, etc).

    Not saying it's a craft beer mecca, but this is a pic of just a section of the shelf behind the bar at PRL. I see Mendocino, Lagunitas, Bluepoint, Delirium, St. Bernardus, etc and they have a pretty good selection of Belgian and German beers. I have been there many times - more when I used to live in Hollywood. They are not a straight craft beer bar but they have a decent selection of over 100 bottles.

    I don't think it is affiliated with Native Brewing Co, but they have some local beers on tap and other good stuff. It's a live music venue, but they have craft beer:

    Tipsy is having a homebrew competition Thurs Aug 8th - 5pm - close .. We'll be bringing Peach Pine Island IPA & Blueberry Old 84 Porter
