Late last fall there was thread about Green Flash and the lack of bottle dates. Someone from GF actually chimed in the thread and said the beginning of 2012 we'd see dates/codes on the bottles and they just bought the machine to do so. Well, it's 1/2 way into 2012 and no codes. Too bad cause I can't buy there stuff till they do. Hoping. GF Rep will see this.

Same here, pass on thier beer alot cause of the lack of bottling dates. Figure I can get something else that I know is fresh.

I just got done drinking a green flash west coast IPA, it was fucking delicious, no date to be seen on the bottle.

I realize it's not always possible to see the case they arrived in, but there is a "bottled on" date stamped on each box.

That only helps a select few that sell by the case like in PA.
I wish I can pull up the old thread from the old site but can't find it. I agree west cost is my favorite ipa but I'd rather give my money to the breweries that invest some $ and time on dating.

Agree. Plus I just pull the sizer out of closed cases where I do check the date.

In my humble opinion... no need for a boycott here. Caution - Yes (like all IPA?DPA's) but no need for a boycott.

Having said this, I do hope they start marking the 4packs and/or bottles.

West coast IPA is my favorite IPA. Never had a problem with freshness personally...haven't even thought to look for a date. I think it moves pretty quick around here.

Maybe it's cause you're so far out east, luckily I live up the coast from GF, and like AndyTaylor said, I don't really think that stuff sits on the shelf very long around here.

This is the best news ever (not really). But now I'll be able to add GF to my IPA rotation!

No way! I'm super stoked, what a coincidence.
(I guess it's not much of a coincidence considering bottle dating threads show up every couple of days.)

Nice!!! Now they need to clear out the old GF clogging up the shelves on Long Island and bring in the new stuff.

This brewery is awesome, but if I am going to pay $11 for a 4 pack of regular IPA, not being fresh will piss off the good humor man. Palate Wrecker is crazy good.
