If we can get this group thing up and going the posibilities are endless! Through the group we have good relationships with Bestway, distributors, breweries and beer bars/resturants. It kinda happened in the past @ the previous gatherings (that died out), we had special kegs from bestway and local distributers and growlers from foothills etc.

Are we going with crazy beers? or something more available to start it off?

Look at the beer sign up page there's a nice variety already. Bring what you want to share.

    Beeranator,

Bring what you want, no pressure, no whales required! More about trying to get triad beer people out to meet each other and enjoy a beer either brought in bottles or on tap.

I just got added to the Facebook group, and will try to make this event on Monday. Once i get confirmation I'll post what I'm bringing.

I am more of a Triangle guy, as I work and play in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill each day, but I live in Mebane, so Greensboro is fair game as well.

Man, I had a blast; well worth burning a vacation day to attend. Met a lot of great new N.C. triad beer friends and reconnected with many old ones. Great brews and food. Thanks to our host Sticks & Stones and all the fine folks that work there (my opinion has changed 100% on this establishment and I'll be leaving a solid review on them shortly). Not to get to sappy here, but this is what the Triad Beer Scene is; Great craft beer PEOPLE getting together to spend time with one another, enjoying great conversations, laughs, food, and brews. But the key to it all is the Great People. Cheers my Friends, Gary

Only corrections I have is that we had Stone Vertical Epic 11.11.11 Aged in White Wine Barrels and New England Brewing Company Imperial Storm Trooper 2010.

Also, I think a bottle of Stone 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA also made it's way around the table.

I had a great time last night and it was really great to meet a bunch of BAs from the area - lots of fun, good conversation, and great beers.

Just a few updates to the brew list : The Stone Vertical Epic 11.11.11. was the "White Wine Barrel Aged" version, I didin't see the Evolution Winter Migration (2012), or the Maine/Nogne O Collaboration Time III listed.

It was great, I should have thought out the "flow" of the tasting more, I don't think I was prepared for such a great turnout, I'm glad. Christi was!

All joking aside name tags would be great! Monogramed hoodies
Or even a check in sheet with what you brought

I tried to make it round the tables to introduce myself and hope I met everyone!

That was a nice set up, name tags would work hard to remember so many new faces.
