    Grimm beers are usually in high demand (especially the cans). Cans have been limited to low counts per person. Grimm Artisanal Ales supply their beers at low prices (and have NOT raised their prices recently) to the distributor, who supply the retail shops, and therefore are not responsible for the final price you may encounter. They try to support the "Mom and Pop" shops that sell their beer. Hopefully, we should all support these small shops. Also available at select Whole Foods beer departments with limits to spread the wealth among your fellow BA brethren. :sunglasses:

    The latest fitness craze has been the checking of this thread and Beermenus for their cans/bottles and running around town trying to get them before inventory is sold out. Needed exercise for some of our fellow beer enthusiasts. :grinning: If you miss out, you can usually find their beer on tap.

    Post away and yes, Joe and Lauren (the Grimm's) monitor this thread and are great about responding to your questions and comments. Especially, if you tag them @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales. :slight_smile: Great people, great couple, great brewers.

    which of these beers are best for stashing one to the side for that length of time? I always keep an extra of stuff on the stout / porter spectrum but will the changes in the farmhouse / saison grimms be positive / interesting? Maybe something like BFF?

    I'm really enjoying New Age, you guys. Look forward to everyone's feedback.

    I feel like noble hops (castling) tend to age in a much more positive manner than dank new world hops (BFF). I don't like BFF at all past 6 or 8 weeks, but I've really enjoyed 6 month old bottles of Castling.

    New Age is really nice, pleasant floral aroma reminiscent of some of Grimm's sours. Citrus/lemony zest upfront with a light earthiness bitterness on the backend.

    I’ll be in town from 2/23-2/26. Where would I go in either Brooklyn or Manhattan to find a can release of Grimm? Or will their taproom be open by then?

    Astoria typically gets Grimm cans distributed either Monday or Friday. Astoria Bier and Cheese received both Magnetic Tape and New Age today.

    Taproom won't be open by then. I would check Whole Foods on Friday as that is when they usually get their Grimm deliveries.
