Union has them in stock, not sure if they will make it to shelves today or if it will be monday.

These two DIPA's came out VERY good, probably my favorite IPA release of the past six months.

places are starting to tap up foo foo, solid - I think el dorado is more nuanced than some other hops, will have to try it some more. notably some bars are mislabling it in beer menus under the old frou frou listing if you are searching around for it.

this batch of kinetic cloud was awesome too.

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales any idea what the growler fill setup is going to be at the new place? counterpressure only? sick growlers with versions of the glassware art?

 

@kuishinbo_tantei We decided to go with the Treehouse/HF-style CO2 purge of growlers, then cap on foam. The reason we decided against counterpressure is because it takes so long to fill a growler, and we want to do a lot of growler-only beers and make it viable option to fill a lot of growlers without an insane wait time. I think treehouse and hill have demonstrated that a CO2 purged growler with proper technique results in a good quality fill.

We have new art for the growlers -- they are going to look so good! Can't wait for people to see all the new designs.

salivating at growler only fills. i've been waiting for the Grimm brewery for a very long time (as im sure you guys have too). Any more information on the space? Is it going to have a hangout vibe (trivia nights, music, pop up food) or be more of a tasting room?

 

I'm liken' Striken'. Definitely a top tier Grimm for me. And one of the best looking beers I've seen to date. Awesome color.

 

Picked up some cans at Gold Star on Friday. Looking forward to doing a side by side with Kites later this week.

 

Hey @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales on a totally unrelated tangent to this thread, I cracked a nearly year old Sumi Ink the other night and it was basically liquid crack cocaine fudge in the best possible way. Wish more brewers would focus on that creamy mouthfeel and full body the way you guys do (Perennial and Prairie also probably deserve some probs in this regard). But far too many BA stouts these days are paper thin so you end up tasting nothing but booze. So happy you're not one of them...

 

Awesome, I have one bottle left I'm saving for Thanksgiving. Can't wait to have that (and my 2016 Double Negative) next month.
