Just got burned for a growler fill at $26. Wondering if there is a thread that lists fill prices and any specials (1/2 price fills on Wednesday, etcetera). La/OC area

how do you get burned for a growler fill? No prices listed at the brewery? I didn't even know bars could fill growlers in CA

which beer and how many oz was $26?

I don't think I've ever seen specials on fills.

Growler fills in themselves are a rare thing in L.A/O.C of stuff that isn't just cheaper/same price per ounce in bottle. Let alone places don't really lend themselves to half off/sale prices on it unless they really just want to dump a product.

    How and where?
Noble Citra Showers? That's there regular price for the shower series.
Bootleggers Knuckle Sandwich? Yes, I can see getting burned for such a mediocre beer at that price.
Most places here in the LA/OC area the growler fills are up there in price. I once complained that Beachwood fill prices were very high at $17 or $19 for a 64oz fill. Not the case anymore. There are many more places that are higher than BW's $$. You should take a drive south to Alpine and get a growler fill of their IPA's for $12 n change for Duet or Nelson, or $14 n change for Pure Hoppiness. Not including the new growler price. Now those are some really good prices on growler fills. But that was back in the day when it was 100% Alpine brewed beers. These days it's a hit or miss. But thats in a whole different thread. I would have to say beer prices (glass, bottles or growlers) in SoCal is not cheap. I complained about the price for a glass or pint 6 or 7 years ago. It's even higher today. So I usually stick to bottles and some growler fills these days.
