Gulf Shores, AL beer spots?

Fairhope Brewing is in Fairhope, AL and is about an hour's drive west of Gulf Shores. Last time we went down there we made that be on our way to Gulf Shores and really enjoyed the beers. If you go through Birmingham there are a lot of good brewery stops you could make.

 

What he ^^ said. I really enjoyed Good People in Birmingham on the way down. Fairhope was a chill spot with good beers on tap

 

If you get out and decide to drive into Pensacola, I spent a rainy evening at Gulf Coast Brewery in Pensacola and it was well worth it, solid IPA, Milk Stout, Coffee Porter and a great Alt. They have ping pong, corn hole and darts set up in the brewery area

Stop in Foley, AL at Piggley Wiggley for bottles, cans, and growler fills. They have the best selection in lower Alabama.
For fantastic pizza and 60+ beers on tap hit Mellow Mushroom. It's also in Foley on Hwy 59.

Lunas in Orange Beach (about ten minutes from Gulf Shores) has about 30-35 on tap

 

So, what are the must try beers (mainly IPAs) in the area? I am headed down for a conference in Mobile next week.

 

You can get fresh Jai Alai at most places. Fairhope brewing company is a good stop.

 

Big Beach Brewing has opened in Gulf Shores. It is worth a visit. Beautiful taproom with some good, fresh beer.
