Last night at Grumpy's in Roseville I had a glass of Brown Shugga, and it was amazing. Also had some Coffee Bender that tasted like the beans were fresh roasted at the bar. Sublime!!!

All about individual tastes. I actually prefer Sucks, New Dogtown, Sump'in Sump'in ........ to Brown Shugga.

Seems like everything I've had from Lagunitas has been awesome. Brown Sugga' and Lil Sumpin' Sumpin' are probably in my top 10 favorite beers. Cannot wait for Sucks to come out.

I like all their beers except their IPA - in a word, pedestrian. Have you had Hop Stoopid? Very good.

    I agree.
Hop Stoopid has got to be the most solid $4 - $5 bottle that I'm aware of.

I have been very impressed with all I've tried from Lagunitas. I wish I could say the same for Stone.

I've been meh on all the other Lags I've tried but I'm with you on Shugga. It came and went around here before I could get any more than one sixer, though. Looking forward to Sucks to see if it lives up to the hype.

Brown Shugga is just mediocre for me. But I find many of their beers to be outstanding - Sucks, DayTime, Olde Gnarlywine, Little Sumpin Sumpin, Undercover Shutdown, Hairy Eyeball, Dogtown, Imperial Red...

I wasn't crazy about their Dopple Weizen. Not a good interpretation of the style.

I was actually at the Lagunita's brewery/taproom yesterday, 12-22-12. Here is a few pictures.

Had the Around-The-World with a buddy and I... 4 oz pours from each beer they have on tap, 22 of them to be exact.

Then ended up getting a huge hair inside my Ruben sandwich, she offered to take half off the sandwich. But it took me another 45 mins to get it. She ended up giving it to me for free. Not very good service, but the beer and the food was amazing. cheers all!

And it is actually my favorite Weizenbock. It seemed to have a love it or hate it reaction, but I am not sure why.

Pfff I would have been able to do that by myself. Regardless of the DD ride home it's only 7 beers.

Amazing price btw comes to what like a dollar a pour? I can't find any place (anymore) that does flights that cheap.

I love most beers I've tried from the brewery (particularly Imperial Red, Hairy Eyeball, and Hop Stoopid) and my favorite style is weizenbock, but I really disliked the Doppel Weizen. Maybe my bottle was bad, but I didn't get any "Banana-Cloves" like you might expect from a weizenbock and I just tasted a whole mess of booze.

Tried my first sixer of Brown Shugga a few weeks ago. Awesome, awesome, awesome! I will be trying more from Lagunitas and can't wait for Sucks to shop up here in Chicagoland.

I do wonder if they had inconsistency with the bottles, which would be rare for Lagunitas. I got a ton of banana clove goodness. It was somewhat sweet, but the finish was dry.
