A number of you have pointed out / reported users who've either misused or abused Hads. The difference being: Misuse: tracking beers w/o any consideration for the rating; pre-update, so the user didn't think their score would ever count. Typically this involved just selecting a "1" as the score for all beers tracked. This practice has dramatically decreased since the update. Abuse: purposely bashing (all 1s) or hyping (all 5s) beers/brewers in an attempt to influence scores. Typically this happens with popular beers/breweries. There are clear patterns for both, and being able to report these patterns will be made easier with the site redesign. In the meantime, I've handled all reports to-date, as well as others, and updated all beer/brewery stats. We'll continue to keep an eye on things too. To Report: Please send us a link to the user's Hads (by email or private conversation), but only if there's clearly something going on ... not because you simply don't agree with a user's opinion.
