Has anyone seen Bourbon County Vanilla or Coffee in any stores around Chicago?

You're a couple years too late for Vanilla.

Coffee 2012 hasn't hit stores yet, although Goose Island said they would announce it's release date this week. 2011 was released back in late January/early February I believe and it would be amazing, but unlikely to find any in stores anymore.

Vanilla? Damn no...would have to give up a shit ton to get that I'm afraid. GI won't make anymore I've heard due to the massive clean up involved with the vanilla beans.

Found Coffee & Bramble in a shop about 3 months ago on a stroke of absolute luck. You'll probably have no luck finding anything until Goose officially announces the next release.

To the OP...point of this BAérs reply is IF anyone did see Vanilla just sitting around any remote shop by them....they would have grabbed it. That said....there always are "diamonds in the rough"to be found when searching off the beaten path. I know of a shop that still has all 3 "sisters"just sitting there...some 2011 vintage. I also just found some 2012 BCBS for 14.99 a 4-pack. So...there is good stuf to found if you get lucky or know where to look. That said....Vanilla? Unlikely. Now.....if anyone is looking for some 09 Maharaja.....I saw some recently! (no lie)

That's because no one wants to drink 3 year old IPA...

I hear Kentucky has Vanilla all over the place still.

Indeed. They also had some bottles of 10 & 11 as well. Just wanted to be sure our "aged IPA" fans knew there were some around.:grimacing:
