    I love this beer.
Had one about a month ago that seemed a little bland but chalked it up to it being too cold.

Tonight I had one and made a point to let it warm considerably. I got very little aroma compared to previous tastings it was subpar.

    No phenols like before.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

    not in my opinion
    I drink a lot of Tank 7 - my only 5
However, there is a significant flavor change as it ages as the hops are pronounced especially compared to fresh.

Given that this beer has Brett, I would think it changes continuously from the minute you buy it until you drink it (it's alive)

Hey readyski - Boulevard has a Saison Brett that starts as a Tank 7, no brett in the original
a reason I've loved this beer for so long is its excellent quality consistency
    Tank 7 is Brilliant
    cheers

One of my favorites and I have not noticed any changes. I'll pay closer attention on my next go around.

I am working through a 4 pack of cans of Tank 7 and I have not noticed anything different. It's possible you palate has changed.

Maybe it's just me. I'll pay attention to the date on the bottle next time to see if that has any effect.

I had some recently , bottles, and it did strike me as slightly muted, compared to what I expected. Didn't look at the date. It shows up so sporadically, that I almost automatically grab it if I see it, as it holds up well . Maybe it was old, maybe it was just that batch? At the time, I assumed it was me.
Two of those bottles were the only beer I had that night. In other cases, I had had pils, helles, or Genny Creme(Science!:stuck_out_tongue::wink:) preceding it .

Of course you're right. I do love both those beers, but the SB is a bit spendy (format). I think the Tank 7 is underrated though, but it's not new

Not sure about his replacement, but I believe Danner is at Four Hands now.

I loved this beer when it was available even here on the shelves but sadly it disappeared a few years ago so I can't answer your question. I'll say though that it's my #2 favorite saison after Saison Dupont. And that's quite a honorable mention and compliment.

After a few years of not having it, I noticed some on the shelves at my supermarket. Date code was 9 months old, but I bought it anyway knowing it ages pretty well. I had one and it was delicous. Still hoppy as hell and I thought it was exactly as how I remembered it the last time I drank it. Great beer.

Like what some others have mentioned, Tank 7 seemed to mostly disappear from Denver for a while. Bottles were around, but draft mostly dried up. It started showing back up last year and it's everything I remember.

Correct. I started with 4 Hands Brewing Co. back at the beginning of August. I'm our Kansas City on-premise specialist/brand ambassador. I do some travel for national events as well.

I've got to ask...how many glasses do you own and how much time do you spend setting up your awesome beer still lives? Oh, and what camera do you use?

mostly nearly zero time setting things up but certain beers are planned for well in advance
    Fuji X-T2 primarily with a 60mm
I have blast taking photos of what I'm drinking, this is my play
    cheers to ya
