thanks everyone! i was hoping to impress. yea i scored the wootstout from a buddy whos got like 4 of them on stock. enjoy the habanero sculpin, this batch that we bottled is actually a little on the milk side. let me know what you think of some of that stuff.

since hess just started canning last month basically so its just extremly local distro on those, same with habanero sculpin, we are starting with just SD distro on the six packs. probably a few months they will widen that one. then the nelson pretty much never makes it out of the brewery. i had a buddy grab me 3 bottles when he went there for the exponential hoppyness release.

I just came to post this (totally worth signing up for a FedEx account)! You threw me with the two presidents from my state hint... Wikipedia only lists one. Also there are multiple Kentuckians in this BIF but I forget if they received yet or not. Either way, super excited to get home from work!

Package had to stop at Lewisberry, PA. I'm guessing they finally had to change the tires on the truck from all beer onboard. Should be reaching it's final destination tomorrow.

It seems that all targets have been assigned for this round; if I'm correct, can someone point me to the thread for the next round, or a different BIF that is just getting up and running? I tried reading through the BIF forum section but all I came across were in-progress BIFs like this one, and LIFs.

This one is already ongoing. Look for ones with NBO (new BIF opportunity) in the title. They don't show up too often and can fill up fast so you typically need to be quick and looking on a regular basis. I probably would've signed up for one sooner but they were always full before I got to them.

Another hint since the box should be about 48 hours from delivery: A very famous actor who I can safely assume was voted sexiest man alive at some point (but I'm too scared of typing "sexiest man alive" into a search engine at work to check) had his first major role in a movie that was filmed primarily in your town.

Detonation in Minneapolis! My porch buckled but did not give way under the weight of @dgthrasher's box. My lower back on the other hand....

It's a veritable beatdown of New England's finest, including Doug's own homebrew. My daughter came home from school and found me elbow deep in beer and said it was unfair that due to beer I get Christmas several times a year. She also said it was doubly unfair given me being Jewish and all that.

So, who's in the mood for some mid-afternoon porno?

    First up, the cans.

    L to R:

DC Brau Penn Quarter Porter - I love porters, even though my 13 year old son strongly prefers stouts. Do not judge.
NEBCO Gandhi-bot - WANT! - first beer out of the box no less. Odds on favorite to be the first drunk too. FIFO indeed.
NEBCO 668 Neighbor of the Beast - WANT! - one of my favorite beer names
NEBCO Sea Hag x2 - unofficial want - not on my wants list because I got pissed off putting stuff on there one by one

    The shorties:

NEBCO Bourbon Barrel Stout - beer boner
    Jack's Abby Smoke & Dagger - YESSSSSSSS....First true haul of Jack's Abby
Otter Creek Citra Mantra - I love citra hops the way a fat kid loves bacon
Ithaca Hopbloem - Sounds great to me!
    Ithaca Laissez-Faire - Mmmmmmm
Ithaca Fleur de Belgique - Interested to try this one next to Hopbloem
Ithaca Obscurite - Hey, a stout! Zach will enjoy it. Shut up, I am too a good parent. Do not judge x2.
Weyerbacher Heresy - Only beer on the list I've had. Would take this beer any time, any place.

    The big 'uns
    [IMG]

Pretty Things Jack D'Or - Can't have too many summer beers, although living in Minnesota we may never get to summer
Coronado Blue Ridge Coffee Stout - I like coffee in everything. I would probably even like a coffee-flavored enema. Do not judge x3.
NEBCO Premeditated Murder - Want! Big grin when this came out of the box. Dislocated my grinning muscles
NEBCO Imperial Stout Trooper - Want! No, wait, mega-want! I mean giga-want (pronounced "jiga-want")!
Jack's Abby Evil Brew - A schwartzbier. Not familiar with the style, looking forward to trying
Jack's Abby Barrel-Aged Framinghammer - Big time want! I have sampled Framinghammer before, but now I have my very own! I will hug it and pet it and name it George. Then I will drink it
Jack's Abby Smoked Marzen - All these german beers! Gut! Ja! Ich nicht remember any other deutsche wordens!

Homebrew, growlers, and swag, oh my!

    These understated, anonymous beauties are:

    Doug's homebrew Kolsch - I love a well-made Kolsch
Doug's homebrew fucking rum fucking barrel fucking barleywine - Ermagehrd! This one was unlabeled so I had to ask Doug what it was. He says it's a 15% ABV so I should make sure to drink it at home. Aw. That sounds responsible. No fun. My plan was to drink it and then drive around town. Way more interesting.
Doug's barrel-aged black barleywine - This sounds just as good as the other one! And he didn't say anything about not driving afterward!
Beer'd World At Large - Never heard of it, but sounds great.
NEBCO Fat-ten-ner5 - A smoked old ale. Didn't know such a thing existed. Honestly, I'm a bit frightened to try this, but I'm a gamer. But if I can drive around town after drinking Doug's black barleywine, I can do anything, right?
Beer'd Teku Glass! Woo-hoo! Good bye, dixie cups!

    Awkward family photo:

Awesome, awesome stuff. Jack's Abby, NEBCO, and Ithaca were all breweries I haven't had much of and wanted to try more. I was quietly hoping to get a New England sender for exactly this reason. Thanks so much, Doug. I'll start working on my reciprocity box once my back has healed.

Glad everything made it safely! Being a first time BIFer, I feel like I was unprepared for a couple things, like how many ounces most people sent out, that blew me away! It's amazing. I sent double the minimum and it seems small compared to most peoples haha. And also, instead of sending the two sixers, I feel like I should have only sent 1 or 2 of more things. With that being said, if you like anything in particular @sonsofauerbach then let me know and I can send more your way! Or if you have anything in my distributing area that you are looking for then let me know that too! Cheers to everyone involved in this, this beer trading culture is amazing!

Awesome! I'm glad everything made it! You sir were a hard target to acquire for based off of your distribution area. So I stuck with the local theme. Plus a lot of your listed wants are my wants too or things I don't have easy access to ;).

I hope you enjoy everything. I'm glad the Bergers cookies were a hit. They really do pair well with the Berger stout from Full Tilt.

    Cheers!

I already knew I wasn't your target, but I can confirm that no eagle has landed by me so someone else in Wisconsin has a nice present to open.

One of the benefits of shipping to work, I see the box immediately. One of the negatives, I still can't open it until later and it taunts me ruthlessly.
