A brewer friend has enlisted my help to do a lambic. I know nothing about homebrewing lambic, and am searching for a simple, straightforward starter lambic recipe.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Been wanting to do a lambic for a few years and for one reason or another haven't done it. Let us know what you go with and post the results!

Get the book Wild Brews by Jeff Sparrow. If you are serious about getting into the style, this book is a must. I've only done one true lambic-style beer, but went all out based on the book, with aged hops, unmalted wheat, pils malt, a turbid mash, and extended boil. I fermented with a mix of Wyeast's lambic blend and dregs from beatification, and at about a year ana half old, I'm very happy with the beer and think if compares favorably with real lambic.
