Help in Tampa (CCB), PLEASE.

Good Luck, I was there last week they have just 2 Barrels (wooden) of the BA MZ in the brewery, this is going to go fast. Ill wait for the BA Huna later int he summer.

Not trying to be an azz,,, I do hope you get a growler.

 

Once the OP is taken care of, I'd like to make a similar request.

I'll be out of town next weekend in Chicago and am driving back (via 3 Floyds and New Glarus), so would be more than happy to put together a little 3 Floyds/New Glarus care package for the BA who can hook me up.

Any idea how many growlers that doth make? I'm considering going, but only if I have a realistic shot.

Also, it will be awfully difficult to convince someone to get one for you instead of themselves, but I wish you luck!

 

I just called the Tastingroom, 32oz growlers only. So it they are expecting ti to sell out that day.

Did anyone hear anything about when regular Marshal Zhukov is going to be released?

 

I dont think CCB has said anything yet, but its usually in August.

 

If there are enough Tampanites who'll do this, I'd like to be third in line. I'll string along some Heady Topper/KBS for the kind soul that'll hook me up (after the other two, of course).

 

When we were there for Hunahpus Day they had at least 8 wooden barrels and they were all marked Brandy Apple Zukhovs! They were sitting right outside the bathrooms! Idk if they are only tapping 2 for the Fathers Day event or not but their Facebook said until it's gone! It is very possible that they are only going to sell just 2 barrels worth but I know they had a lot more than that aging!

 

2 Saturdays ago there were only 3 big barrels 2 labeled BA mz and one was a special batch of something to be bottled for knightly spirits in Orlando. Maybe they moved the others to the new part of the brewery. Dunno

 

They tapped the apple brandy zhukov in April briefly to celebrate CCB getting 10,000 likes on Facebook. The other barrel you are talking about is Campeador which is brewed every year for Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Previously Fergus Mor, Rurik, and Greaves. This year its called Sid I think).

 

Do you know when the Campeador stuff usually gets released?

 

This year it was in February.

 

we added spices and whatnot to most of those barrels of Zhukov's, turning them into Hunahpu's.

we're only tapping a few kegs of the Zhukov's for Sunday, so growlers will go fast.

 

I want to go SOOOO bad it hurts!
