Hopefully the delivery truck is well-armored and decked out like the one in The Road Warrior.

Eh, I'm of two minds about this one. On the one hand, it's a great beer that I'd be more than happy to buy and drink in abundance. On the other, since I've had it multiple times in the past I'm not sure I'm excited enough to brave the ridiculousness of calling tons of stores, getting on lists, chasing trucks, etc.

Now that CT is getting more of the shelf wales (e.g. BCBS variants, BA Bigfoot, KBS, etc) I'm starting to appreciate how nice it was to be on the sidelines of the silliness and pick up a few goodies here and there via trade.

I'll buy KBS if I see it, but I'm much more excited about Redrum!

I'm actually on the other side of the coin here......I'm looking 4ward to NOT having to trade for this brew.I look 4ward to tracking some down etc.,as opposed to a ISO and trading for it/shipping it/raiding my cellar.Glad I didnt care for the Darklord 2010 I traded away for some last year.

    Cheers

What you don't enjoying paying jacked up prices for these beers and have to play games with hunting them down as state distributors release it on different dates to various parts of the state?

I lived in Massachusetts for two years and I was never able to get any. The one year I was actually able to hunt some down, I was living in CT and drove 60 miles to get 2 4-packs. I'm definitely looking forward to driving less than 60 miles to find some.

I'm definitely not looking forward to finding out how expensive it is in this state

I'm eagerly awaiting KBS. I don't generally feel worry or unease due to beer, but I do happily anticipate its arrival.

When I lived in NYC 2 years ago, I struck out at 2 different stores on release day...the last bottle left the store just as I came in. Then, what do you know, it suddenly showed up at a random grocery store in my neck of the woods like a month later. I was able to buy a few 4-packs, no fuss, no muss. That was a good day. (I think it might have been the same day that I found out that I got into grad school, too.)

Of course, this year, I'm expecting to be shanking people at Amity.

This year's release will be epic in MA. Maybe the first stabbing for a beer release.

I hear you, but KBS (while great) didn't rock my world enough for me to trade for it anyway. I've got plenty of BCBS and BA IST stashed away in case I feel a craving for a bourbon barrel stout, and KBS will probably pop up on tap at the usual suspects, anyway. The only reason I'd really want bottles would be to cellar them, but I greatly prefer KBS fresh.

Does anyone know the price point for a four pack?

Well, regular Founders six packs (including their low ABV All Day IPA) all cost around the $11.50 / 6 pack mark and the comparable BCBS - which is made by a much larger company on a much larger scale - sells for $25 / 4 pack so if I had to venture a guess, $25 minimum.

I think KBS is cheaper, I wanna say $20

It's going to be similar to BCBS. Expect at least $19.99 per 4-pack, with the average probably closer to $23 and the gougers trying to get nearly $30. You'll probably see singles selling for $8ish from the really greedy ones.
