I recently moved to Connecticut and have made a few trips to HF already. I am interested in developing a trading partnership with someone where we ship every few months. I am really interested in getting releases from Upright, Logsdon, Hair of the Dog, Cascade, Fremont, and Ale Apothecary. Nothing that is super hard to get, but not stuff that is available in California as a I already have trading partners that send me those beers regularly. This is just a feeler, so let me know if there is any interest and maybe we can work something out. I have trade references I am happy to give and I would like to check to see if yours as well.

    Thanks

Fremont isn't distributed in Oregon, and Ale Apothecary isn't distributed in Washington. Unless someone is willing to drive a whole lot, you'll need two trading partners.

Ale Apothecary (according to their website) is available at Beverage Warehouse in VT.

This is true, but the op is in CT which is quite a distance from the Burlington area!

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a regular. It seems some of us have opted to just skip the midwest altogether and just trade with VT.

I think you missed about where he said he would be trading HF (in VT) for the beers he was looking for. If he's going to HF to get beers to trade then he'll be in VT and can stop by Beverage Warehouse.

Just to clear this up I know ale apothecary is sold at Beverage Warehouse. I called and they said they get it, but it comes in sporadically. Also, if I wanted to go to Beverage Warehouse it would make my trip time go from 8 hours round trip, to 12 hours round trip. Pretty big difference. Would rather try and find someone to trade for it.

Ale apoth has been sitting at hunger Mtn since it showed up 2 months ago. It'll continue to sit as the price is outrageous

Out of curiosity, what are they charging?

Seems to sit out here in Oregon at outrageous prices, so I'm not surprised.

Just shy of $30. $28.99 or something like that.
