I'm stoked there's now a bottle friends shipping option within CA. Will be my first year if I can grab a spot tomorrow!

Just saw on HPB’s IG “stories” that there were only 15 spots remaining as of 5pm PST. Wild. Hope you got your spot!

All this red and green sauce talk makes my taste buds whine for a spicy HPB stout based mole de chocolate burrito.

Perhaps we could settle for a nice garlic stout.

Just here to sing the praises of SAME DAY DELIVERY from HPB!:clap::clap:

Getting fresh, cold Hello, LA! to restock the WCIPA side of my fridge PLUS my pre-paid bottles delivered is better than the flying cars of the future we were promised. What an age to be alive. :beers:

I’m just outside their delivery area in the South Bay. But was able to get a delivery at work; was pretty cool to get some fresh cans out the HPB van. Felt like a kid at the ice cream truck.

I’ve been getting delivery pretty much ever week for the past year. I’ve ordered way too much beer this week (Cellarmaker, Casa, Monkish, and just placed a Cellador order) but I really wanna try Ocean. My dumbass is gonna end up buying more beer this weekend even though I literally can’t fit anything in my fridge.

That’s a fantastic list. Somehow I completely goofed last year and missed high 6 :/

good news is I didn’t this time and swooped 7, which by the way sounds fantastic! Blend of 3 big ba stouts, 1 aged in heaven hill barrels for a whopping 26 months

Cracked a high 7 last night, way too sweet for my liking! Not sure if it's my taste or what but I have been increasingly finding their stouts/BBA beers to be overly sweet sugar bombs. I love HPB and will continue to support them, but may have to give up my bottle friends if it's going to be mostly adjunct-laden syrup beers. I realize pastry stouts are popular, and I can appreciate that a brewery needs to make money, but these things are getting sweeter and sweeter.

Wish they would make an occasional roasty adjunct-free stout, porter, RIS, etc. How about a good old BBA stout...with nothing else in it? Have they ever even made such a thing? I know last year there was Fuerte Mañana which was incredible.

Agreed, this last batch of GJG was very sweet initially, I miss the dark chocolate roasty-ness of previous batches.

Just a reminder that Q1 bottles need to be retrieved by tomorrow. I need to race over and get my High 7. Oh, and it looks like Timbo cans were added to the inventory today so you can grab some as well when you make your pick-up.

Haven't tried from the bottle yet but had it on tap and really enjoyed it. Thankfully the cedar and cinnamon were not too overpowering.

b2 is very solid, one of the few cinnamon that is present but as @LocestLXCX said, not overpowering.

I'm not sure if it's a rotating adjunct series, as the first had hazelnuts and coffee, and this one has vanilla, cinnamon and cedar in contrast.

Well, crap. I saw the email about picking up 2020 bottles and went online to check my account. Saw the words "Completed" in the status column so didn't think I had anything to grab. Till I went looking for the bottles at the house and then realized Completed doesn't mean I picked them up, it's just some misleading column in a database table. Six weeks from date purchased to today may seem like enough time to pop by there but wasn't for me. Adios High 7.
