Bottles say the release is out of 1200. Usually about 2/3 to 3/4 of the number of bottles are actually released, so I think maybe 700-800 available?

When we left at 12:30, there was a pretty long line. The folks outside at that point probably had a 90 minute wait in front of them, at least. I should also mention that between noon and 3:00, Greensboro had probably 6 inches of snow. These were not ideal travel conditions at all and it was still packed.

Well had I known I would have tried everything in my power. I'm in town for work and it took a lot of convincing to explain to my team Partner why HF is such an incredible place and why I want to go to the release so bad and it's worth me skipping the client for a day before our flight home. Didn't think limits got cut but he can certainly do whatever he likes, ultimately has good intentions. Just hard to swallow in my position.

Yep - they cut them all the time. In fact, they frequently put "Limit: 4? or Limit: 2?" or something like that on their website.

I just saw on twitter that the Collected Works will be 50 memberships this time around. I applied and I know this narrows my chances, but for some reason I like it. Makes me feel more that they're not trying to profit hugely at all from it, and I appreciate that those who are lucky enough to get it will have the opportunity to have more communication about tailoring their box and what not. Plus I'm graduating from college so 350 would probably be steep for me regardless.

Any one else have any thoughts?

I've heard the current bottles of Arthur are a new batch. Can anybody confirm this?

I'd say its pretty clear he isn't trying to fleece people and its respectable. He could raise his prices, remove the limits and damn near sell out in a day or two. He would rather have more people share the experience

As for Arthur, I believe you are correct.

Roads outside of Greensboro were getting a bit interesting at around 1p when I left HF. Leaving Waterbury at 4p wasn't as bad.

Today was an experience haha. I was able to get us to Taylor Rd from NYC but after that my car said no. I parked it to the side and my friend and I began to walk it with our growlers and luckily some nice people picked us up and helped us back down as well. Shaun even offered to give us a lift back down, a pleasurable experience at HF as always. Cheers guys!

I'm assuming the roads aren't going to get better?
The salting and plowing good over that way?

In my experience with southern NH dirt roads, they turn into a shitshow when they freeze. I've got a FWD sedan with traction control & dedicated snows and didn't have many issues today. If you've got 4WD or AWD & snows then you should be fine. All seasons would be ok.

I was bummed for a minute when I saw the Norma reduction, but then I realized: A.) I'm going to get *some* Norma tomorrow , B.) S&S6!! C.) I'm drinking a Tide and its Takers (now) and I didn't crash on the snowy drive up to NH tonight (before). So, I guess my life is okay :astonished:

Was Everett on for fills today? I know about checking the retail shop, but rumor was it was back on, and now the list is filled and Everett is still "on deck".

It was not. The open tap got filled with Society&Solitude#6, Everett is available on draft at local restaurants.
