Crap, I was assuming 12AM meant midnight tonight. 11:59 is so much easier.

I thought deadline was tonight as well, since it was mentioned we had all week to enter. And I thought there might be a tweet and an update to the details page when it closed. Anyone know for sure, curious to know the final numbers are.

Jus got home from hill. Got up there at 330 today - line of about 60 people. Only waited in line for an hour and half. Seemed like everyone was getting Norma. The girl said there will be some left for tomorrow. I got mine. Probably not going to last whole day. Good luck to anyone going tomorrow.

 

Shaun said earlier the rumor of Norma not making it through Saturday was false.

 

If it last the whole day I would be shocked. But I don't really know how many bottles are left. I'm jus excited to not have to go this mad house tomorrow. Going to be crazy. I would just assume its not going to last the whole day

 

Way to really talk up the brewery. Damn those Breweries who put out a good product and make people want to go there! Damn them all to hell!

Yeah, the tweet actually said you have an "entire week". Now, with the Collected Works page stating the deadline was March 1, obviously this did not mean a 7-day week, but I think it would be reasonable to assume this meant we had at least until the end of Friday. In all honesty, I've also spent my whole life assuming these 12AM deadlines meant the latest possible point so that I had an out when I didn't finish my paper I knew about for 3 months.

 

I'm definitely ready for some Norma line action tomorrow. I even brought my earmuffs with me.

 

Was I talking them down? Or was I just stating a fact that its going to be a madhouse tomorrow. I think given the opportunity for anyone to go any other day they are open besides a Saturday. They would. I've gone to hill many, many times and I encourage everyone to go because its an awesome drive and everyone is really friendly. i will continue to go. To every release. If i have to go on a saturday so be it.

 

I can't wait to make it up there in the Summer/Fall, it was a beautiful area even being a frozen tundra.

 

Seemed pretty clear to me when reading the website. Then again I have a lot of experience "mail ordering" Phish and GD tickets so I'm pretty good (OCD?) about these processes...

 

A strict reading of the website would agree with you. Maybe I was careless to have in my head the norm that "midnight on X date" actually means 12:00AM of the following day. Even so, I wish they had been a bit tighter in their language when answering questions on Twitter that people do read. An "entire week" does not mean 4 days under any interpretation. I hope they can still throw my name in a hat despite an honest mistake.

 

That's 4 x 24 hour days... which is a pretty adequate window. 96 hours... Sorry for any confusion. Guess, as jraras points out, it is always better to read the writing on the website/instructions itself rather than relying on twitter...

 

Any news on if Norma will last till next week?
