Semi-off topic, but I saw a second batch of Phenomenology of Spirit is coming out what made me wonder - has anyone recently tried a bottle from batch 1?

Driving is all hell and back? It's just beer and your no more entitled to it than anyone else. Let Shaun do what he wants to do. It's unfortunate that people put all their eggs in one basket and went up for the release. But that's life and it isn't fair at times. I'd rather life not be fair over beer than in other aspects of it.

Finally able to go up to Hill Farmstead and was wondering if I go up for June 26th, will there be any bottles left from the June 5th release? Also Shaun, if you are interested in some Only Void from TH, let Jean know and I can bring them up with me as I am there once a week.

Unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

Your analogy doesn't really work. If they cancelled the festival that was already sold out to people who already paid you would have a point. But they didn't cancel the fest. They just cancelled the bottle release that nobody had prepaid for.

My understanding is that Arthur would normally last longer, but sales during the 3rd anniversary party cleaned them pretty well out. Until next time.

Wow. HF web site says they're all out of bottles of anything. What are the odds of them being replenished by the time I visit July 3?

Yes, if Anna is released roundabout June 21 like the site says, it'll probably last three weeks at a minimum. I believe batches of the saisons are about 2000 bottles.

Exactly why I say f* the bottles - the aggravation just isn't worth it. If they're there, fine. If not, I just take home a growler of Abner and I'm happy as a clam. This kind of stuff just sucks the fun out of beer drinking.

The cancelled the bottle release that would have led to unknown number of cars coming to an area that had been hit hard by weather and could not handle those numbers... I thought it was a pretty good analogy
