Having never traded for HF in the past, What would it take to get some of the Mimosa or Juicy? Asking here because I have no clue what I would need to offer and doing ISO/FT would fail miserably and probably seem like an auction. So any of you Northerners want to help a brother out?

Who was the guy that said, "You need to have an extensive cellar to get this done"?

    Something along those lines.

Mimosa has gone for Hunahpu(I even turned down an identical offer) and Juicy is probably going to be along the same lines(though I believe it's a smaller bottle, right?). Won't know until you post, though. Limited/one-off CCB stuff might do the trick.

Mimosa would take a TON. Larger bottle, lower number of bottles, release was a while ago now.

There are upwards of 1000 bottles of Juicy, but I feel like the demand is HUGE for this one. Personally, I'm looking forward to Juicy more than I've looked forward to any HF release in a long time.

Either way, it'll take some great bottles to get Mimosa or Juicy. If you've never had HF, maybe start by seeking out growlers of the IPAs or the more widely released bottles (like Anna, Everett, Twlight of the Idols, etc.).

Mimosa is a BITCH to land...I've posted a few times looking for this and came up short. I think I may have a trade finally.....I will say, per the above post, if you can trade Huna for Mimosa....DO IT! DO IT NOW!

Half the problem here is people go after the most hyped Hill Farmstead releases for some reason that I don't really understand. Edward is always on tap, and Everett is frequently on tap and/or in bottles - and those are two of their very best beers. If you've never tried Hill Farmstead, start with those, which will trade (relatively) easily.

Then they have a plethora of tasty saisons, many of which are not much harder to get than Everett/Edward. Usually a DIPA on tap as well.

I could go on, but you get the point. Nearly everything HF touches is gold, and most of the rarities are not any better than the more common stuff - they're just more rare. I get chasing down Mimosa or E if you've already had 30 different HF beers. But seriously ignore them if you're just starting out.
