Home Bar / Man Cave / Cinema (Pic Heavy) Project

Hi All.

I know this section is for Home bars but mine is going a little beyond a simple bar. Initially I wanted a pool table and everything else but unfortunately the room won't accommodate it.
Here is the room as was

After doing some proper measurements I realised my plans were miles out. So I used them as a very rough guide and cracked on with the bar. I had to shrink it down to make is usable and push it a bit further down the room






Popped into My local pub on a whim, and received some freebies.

 

Now I had the basic structure in place, it was just a case of strengthening and making it look good








So, Friday night and I've invited a couple of mates round for Saturday to get royaly p*ssed of our faces so cracked on into the small hours trying to make it look more like a bar.

So, That's the bar somewhere near ready (Until I start brewing then it will all be altered to accommodate that.)

 

Onto the Cinema. I managed to win a projector on ebay, posted for just over £20. Amazed!
As soon as it arrived i was up in the attic playing







Hopefully I'll get a chance this weekend to start work on the cinema. Here's the rough plans with elevated seating




So there we have it. Not complete yet but feeling progress is going well

It's strictly an ornament!
I agree, would be too much like hard work setting that up for such a small set up.

The plan is I want to brew my own ale, so hopefully I'll be able to set some sort of tap for that. But that's to wait 'till after the wedding haha
