I'm brewing 10 gallons of doppolbock. Cherry wood smoked malt plus a couple pounds of rye. 5 gallons for the spring, the other 5 for the fall. (Drinking on last years batch and it is almost perfect.)

I also need to dry hop 2 batches of IPA and keg 2 stouts.

I'm brewing another american pale. Colorado 2 row base, some red wheat, a touch of c20, c60, and _120 for flavor and color. Carpet bombing it with fresh cascaddes and amarillos. Should be pretty tasty.

Had what started off as a very smooth brew day, aside from my son refusing his normal nap schedule and making my timing piss poor to help around the house at all today. The BrewCipher sheet works perfectly for how I brew. Hit my mash temp on the dot, pre-boil gravity was spot on, OG .01 off. Everything went great, the weather was plenty warm enough to not worry about the outside hose and I was just wrapping things up for the day with the ferementor just about full. Then it happened. My auto siphon has a slightly misformed hook at the end of the interior cane, I normally prop the tubing up slightly to keep it from restricting the flow. Just as I was finishing the transfer the clean, but not sanitized spook I was using to keep the tubing propped up did a perfect quadruple back flip landing in the fermenter. I really hope I get lucky since this was a pretty expensive brew, but my fate is now in the hands of the homebrew gods. I will certainly be rushing out to by a replacement auto siphon though and rue how cheap I was being not replacing it already.

Cleaning out two kegs and filling one back up with a Cascadian Dark (first attempt at style). Continental Pils is close to kegging (and then lagering).

Starting my first ever homebrew batch today, an IPA with Summit and Cascade hops. Pretty excited.

Doing our first HopBurst style IPA. Going for 1.060 OG, trying for lots of body. Adding 10.5 ounces of hops to a 5 gallon batch, all hops going in during the last 10 minutes of the boil. Using Cascade, Citra, Centennial, Chinook, Summit, Bravo, Amarillo, Simcoe. This is going to be a really nice smelling brewday. Mashing right now.

Got a batch now sitting in my basement fermentation area.
IPA using the recipe I asked about the other day.
    Munich / C40 grist,
    homegrown Newport for bittering (1.5oz)
2 oz each Falconers Flight, Citra and Mosaic split into 3 each third going in at 10, 5 and flameout.
First run using my new wort chiller, 50 feet of 1/2inch tubing gets the wort from boiling to 62 in about 15 minutes. 8)
Only thing that was off about my brew day was ending up with more boiloff than I expected, so I topped off with water before pitching yeast.
Oh, yeah, will toss in a couple oz of Cascade in a couple weeks for dryhopping.

Another cancelled brew day. Snowing sideways with 50-60mph wind. Not cold, but no way my burners would stay lit, even in the garage (with the door open; I don't like CO). This is getting to be a bad habit this winter...

Didn't brew this weekend, but I did just start a cider. They are stupid easy to make...and I've not done one in about a year.
