Hoof Hearted Brewing (2017)

I'm not sure if they intentionally changed it or not, anything can happen when you're brewing on such a level as they are. But I agree, I hope it comes back around when they release it next.

 

This Konkey release will be my first HH experience. I've never had any of their beers, and I'm excited to take some with me to DLD!

 

Their events sell out in an hour. Is it the same people going to the can releases? It's kind of annoying lol....

 

Tickets were gone in 2 minutes for this one. But yeah, you always see the regulars there.

 

Granted, I'm old and have kids but I'd love to be able to make the drive up north and bring back some HH. I could even talk to the millennials about the 80's; it'd be a win-win for everyone involved lol.

 

Oh, the people that go to DLD will love it!

 

Another konkey dong release in the books. Overall things went pretty smooth with a few exceptions. Can we please leave the dogs at home guys? If your dog can behave in public then I'm ok with it otherwise leave them at home. I'm sure they don't want to wait in line for beer. Also seems that many found a loophole in the current ticketing system and were able to purchase 12 teku glasses and 3-4 cases of konkey. Seems that adjustments need to be made for those greedy folks

 

I wasn't able to make this one but I was curious how everything went, from the Facebook event it seems like things were getting pretty testy over the glassware.

 

Also does anyone know what the konkey dong batch# 2017-04-3 means on today's cans? Could only be a canning date I would think?

 

They never enforce anything at Hoof...leaving it to the patrons to either speak up and hope others support them, or nothing at all. This is a major downside to their laissez faire approach, especially since people have caught on to this and are increasingly taking advantage of it.

 

I got there about 11 an was 80 or so back before the doors opened. Glasses were gone about 40 people through. Also, the exception was someone walking out of there with 12 cans. Most had at least a case many had multiple cases.

 

I saw an all time record today in the can only line when two folks in front of us dropped a total of 22 tickets down between them. Unreal...

By way of example, the gentleman in front of me spent nearly $300 by himself on what looked to be 4 1/2 cases of beer. I am certain if the glasses had not been sold out, he would have left with at least a half dozen glasses also.

 

Blows my example away. Did you ask how they did it.

 

I didn't ask as I was too busy trying not to mouth off about it. 10 tickets went down first, which was amazing in itself...only to have another 12 more printed ones come out. Speechless.

 

For as much of a line there already was at 11am, the Line seemed to have moved fairly quick. And the extra parking area is clutch.

At least they are going to personally drink each and every one of those cans.

 

Same reason why they give a shit about canning releases. It's the knowledge of owning something most people don't.
