Barry, would you happen to have a list of these hops?

    Cheers!

Hoplist also has information on it, but the list is also not complete.

how did this hop turn out? The description has my interest piqued. I'm looking forward to trying their chinook and cascade in a pale ale soon, but could be flexible on the cascade depending on how that grungiest performs in an IPA.

Mehhh. One of the many hops that has a great marketing description and does have notes of what they describe if you really look but honestly I probably wouldnt go out of my way to use it again. It might add some depth in a mix but it surely didn’t do anything for me on it’s own. That being said it looks like they have some Styrian Wolf which I’ve been trying to find for a while. Heard good things about that one.

I haven’t brewed with those grown in MI, but several local breweries use locally grown Chinook and Cascade. The beers are good, the chinook is not as piney as from Yakima.

The pineapple description for the chinook sounds amazing. I'm going for pineapple and citrus. I was looking at the centennial, but there's no flavor description on the site.

Tree House does a beer called Sap with primarily Chinook. It has amazing pineapple and tropical fruit qualities. One of my favorites by them.

I'll be doing a more traditional APA with it this go round. If it goes well I may branch it out into NEIPA.

About to bottle an all HHF Centennial IPA, with some NE tweaks (flaked wheat, a little bit of ferm hops) on Sunday. I'll let y'all now how it is.

I haven't brewed with it myself (I will be doing so next week) but every beer that I've had with it, it is better with another hop. Mine will be 2 batches with different yeast strains, but each will have 50/50 Grungeist and Hallertau Blanc.

Here's some thoughts on the HHF Centennial: very floral, lots of the "juicy fruit gum", grapefruit is there, but takes a back seat

Planning on an all HHF Crystal hoppy blonde next, so I'll weigh in on that as well

My impression of their Crystal is that it is somewhat similar to old school Pacific Northwest Cascade, in ways similar to Sierra Nevada Cascade. I'll be interested in hearing if you have a similar impression.

    Update on Grungeist:

I brewed 2 batches the on the 4th with Grungeist and Hallertau Blanc. One is being fermented with A38 Juice (London Ale III) from Imperial Organic and the other is being fermented with Voss Kveik from The Yeast Bay. I left the brewery at 9:30 p.m. and came back in the next morning at 7:00 a.m. When I got in at 7:00 the brewery was filled with a fruit loop aroma unlike anything I've smelled in the brewery in the last year. Typically when brewing IPA's here, the aroma is big in the brewery during fermentation. This surpasses anything we've brewed as far as intensity of aroma. I texted the owner of the brewery when I smelled it and he said that he came in just an hour after I left the other night and that it was already intensely fruity. Today, the second I opened the door it was a huge waft of gooseberry, peach, and pineapple from the hops along with some notable lemon-lime aroma. I don't think I've ever smelled fermentation like this where so many aromas are distinguishable without even pulling a sample from the fermenters. I'll be dry hopping and spunding the fermenters tomorrow. It appears that the Blanc/Grungeist combo is gaining popularity with commercial brewers as I've seen a few other breweries advertising it on their cans. I see that Notch just canned a hoppy lager with the combo as their dry hop.

I'm pushing two weeks, no hops, no tracking number. I better drop them a line.
