Hopjacks Pensacola

    Anybody been to the one downtown @ 10 Palafox?
    I've seen the beer list & food list and I will be going there sometime next week.
    Can anybody tell me:
    Best time to go?
    Best time to avoid?
    How crowded does it get for sucker-free Sunday?

    I live in Pensacola, and frequent Hopjacks several times a week. My suggestions would be to avoid the Friday and Saturday night crowds if at all possible. That is usually prime time (they get busy!) for your typical Bud Light in a bottle, rum and coke type college crowd... and if you are anything like me, you'll avoid it at all costs. Go anytime during the week, or during the day.

    Definitely go on a Sunday! It is hardly that crowded, and all taps are half off (they are sometimes run out of the more popular beers), and there is plenty to choose from. Pizza and the belgian fries are awesome too!

    If you get a chance, visit the Pensacola Bay Brewery also! Great local beer, and a great place to hang out with locals. Enjoy!

    Thanx Jazz. The brewery is on my list. And at my age I try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights at ALL bars. Also - If your avatar is you, I'll be sure to look out for you @ hopjacks.
