You guys are gonna laugh... but my favorite Ranger Creek beer ever was a Sour version of La Muerta. That shit was delicious. It was marked as such on the menu board (this was at the Draught House circa 2010-2011), but I always wondered if it was really a mistake. A wonderful mistake.

This will be my first one of these. How many bottles do people bring? Is there a spreadsheet or do we just surprise each other?

Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to it.

No spreadsheet. Just surprise people. Bring as much as you want, though there is always way to much. If it is a 12oz I try to bring two of the same so everyone can get a pour (if possible), especially for the bigger tastings. One bomber or 750 will make it through. Glad to see more new people coming out.

One more question: should we bring our own tasting glasses or will the bar provide snifters or something?

I always bring my own snifter, but the Saucer will have a bunch of taster glasses for us to use.

I should be off, but don't know if I can make it.

I wish I could bring another Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus that's heavy on the funk, but I think that was a fluke. Tasted and smelled like cat poop. Super Funk.

May even break out my 2012 vintage, light-kissed Pliny the Elder (I'm not. Saving that for a "special occasion" tasting.)

Last year someone brought an 09 Abyss. After all of the actually sour beers, I couldn't pick up any of the infection.
