If get together with my college buddies I can do 20+ in a day but in an average week I would say 24-30.

I try to stick to the CDC recommendations; 15 drinks per week. I used the Alcodroid tracker for about 6 months to get the feel for what each size is (Enjoy By is 4.2, or close, drinks for instance). I've been very happy with the tracking, both health-wise and wallet-wise.

I try not to drink during the week but occasionally, I will drink during the week. If I do drink during the week, it's usually only one. I try to workout during the week and it somewhat interferes with being productive. On the weekends its a different story, its about 5-6 per night.

I work at a brewery so I try not to count. It would get depressing.

try to average 7 a week, not more. no longer have the metabolism of a 20-something, so... I treat every beer like a meal.

Due to trying to reign in my beer budget, the fact that I am starting to work out again. I am trying to limit myself to MAYBE one a night. Or take an off night and have two during a basketball game. But its primarily about the budget.

Roughly 7-10 a week but this is mostly because I'm trying to get my cellar number down. I intend lower this number soon but we'll see if that happens. Just too many good beers that keep popping up.

THIS. I keep telling myself "I wont buy anything new that comes out..." and then I justify buying a 12 dollar limited release stout. Gotta tame that urge.

6 - 12 beers a week depending on bottle size, ABV/style, mood, and how much sh*t I need to get done in the given week. Having an 8 month old daughter has definitely changed the volume consumed in a week.

4-6 alcoholic drinks (95% beer) consumed mostly on the weekend. This seems to be the number that fits my lifestyle the best. I have considered adding a couple more post-gym weeknight beers/wine pours/scotch pours in the rotation because the negative health effects would be minimal, if any, but I worry about a snowball effect.

I think it's best to step back once in awhile and assess the situation. Do you really want to drink 2500+ empty calories per week?

I realized this will vary by season. Typically 1 a night in the months I drink much higher ABV beer, winter. I drink 1-3 a night when it is much warmer out and ABVs are really low.

my schedule changes all the time, but for now, 1 a night M-Th after work, 3 or so each of Friday and Saturday, 1-2 Sunday. So total probably 12ish.

By the way, I have a sneaking suspicion some are slightly underestimating their total weekly consumption on here...kinda like when the doctor asks you how much you drink...:grinning:

These days just 3-6 per week. Usually on the low end. I treat each beer like an event. It's fun that way.

I abide by the "two beers a day keeps the doctor away" philosophy.

Not saying that those two beers can't be 10% ABV bombers though...

Depends...if I have a mix a 6 pack laying around full of new beers I'm dying to try, I might drink 2 a day out of excitement. If I have a 12 pack of something familiar, I go at it at a more leisurely pace, maybe 1 every couple of days. My work schedule is pretty hectic and I don't always get the weekends off, so the weekends are the same. I also work some weird hours so it isn't unusual for me to have a low ABV beer at noon and go to work a few hours later. All of these factors make me feel a little like an alcoholic at times.

During the week, 1 or 2 every other night.

During the weekend, maybe 2 - 4 a day, depending on what's happening.

If chilling with friends, fuck it there's no limit.

Been on a diet for a while and beer was excluded from my diet, because beer really sucks for dieting. Especially the beers I like.

Now that the diet is over I'm ramping it back up to at least one beer a week, dammit.

    Getting old sucks.
