How many beers do you drink at one time?

3-4 is my average. More on nights when I don't have anything to do the next day.

 

Usually 3 IPA's per night. I love DIPA's, but those calories will do you in. I find myself working out more so I can drink more.

 

Pretty much what I'm in the mood to drink. But since I only drink on weekends [Friday p.m. to Sunday p.m.] it's usually around 3 or 4 on Friday night and 4 to 5 on Saturday & Sunday.

 

I guess I'm the only binge drinker on beer advocate. Oh well. I only drink on weekends but when I do I session low ABV beers. Im not going to say how much but it makes 3-4 look laughable. No apologies. I have an active job and I'm a marathon runner. And I love beer.

 

Anywhere from 1 to a whole lot.
During the week if I drink it's usually just one 500 ml unless I'm out. At the weekend anything goes.

 

Right now it's 1 during a week day and maybe 2-3 on weekend. If I go over this, its not good for my wallet. Only one income in household and I'm trying to get into grad school.

At home? 1-2, generally. Unless it's 'one of those nights.'
At home, with guests? A beer every hour, approximately.
At parties? One per every half hour, approximately, from start to finish (generally lower ABV beers).
At bars? 2-5, depending on if I'm driving, what they have to offer, etc.
Restaurants? Usually just 1.

 

My doc is fine with my 2 beers per night!

 

It all comes down to how long I'm drinking, what I'm drinking, where I am, and if I have to drive. An average night at the bar, assuming I don't have to drive, would consist of 4-6.

At a party? Probably 8-10, assuming I'm drinking a 4-5% ABV beer.

An evening at home, drinking alone? 1-3 craft beers.

Hanging out with a few friends while watching sports? Similar to the bar, so 4-6.

 

At home: Usually 1 or 2. Maybe 3, staggered over a few hours if I built my own sixer of new brews. I try avoid a buzz if I'm tasting/reviewing a new beer.

At a restaurant: Typically just one before my food comes out. If I'm with friends, I might order another after the meal while we sit around and talk.

At a bar: Anywhere from 2 - 7, depending on ABV. I'm not really a big guy, so I generally end up getting a stomach ache before I achieve a solid buzz from low ABV brews.

I don't like surpassing that initial buzz, so I try to limit my drinking as much as possible.

 

At a bbq last night I was double fisted with a Torpedo and a Cafe Racer for a moment but I try to only drink one at at a time...

As others have said, perhaps 2-4 in a "sitting" in general, perhaps 2-3 on week nights, sometimes less... After the fists full of deliciousness it was a few C- and I was done.

 

I open 6 cans at a time and look at my wife and say, watch this shit....

 

i love this question...i work in a tattoo shop so everyday is pretty much friday for me. work at noon and out by 8 !! i jus about always start with an ipa. hardly ever under 8% , might drink a bomber, two bombers, or fuck a whole growler !! then i get that sweet taste on the tip of my tongue for something roasty and barrel aged.... i might get in another 12 oz'er..but more often than most...ill wake up with half a glass of something sitting in front of me ... cheers !!!

 

usually 3-4, but like others have said it varies depending on the type of beer(s) i choose to drink, abv etc. sometimes ill drink 2 small bottles and a bomber, but on my birthday im gonna open a whole mess of beers

 

1-2 during week, 12-16 Friday/Saturday. Sunday day of rest...

Week nights it's usually 1 or 2 12oz or 1 bomber (not every night, but maybe once or twice) Weekends can range from 2 to 6 depending on style and what I'm doing.

 

What is this day of rest you speak of ??
