2-3 on average unless I'm trying to get hammered. In that case, I'll put down a couple sixers of PBR.

As many as I want to, which usually means as many as I can without getting a hangover.

I totally agree. I eat healthy, excercise, and impose absolutely no beer-drinking limits on myself whatsoever, and I'm super-skinny.

Beer is no worry for the health conscious active crowd at all. Cycling and craft beer culture pretty much go hand in hand. Just look at Colorado.

I drink only one beer per night, in a special glass, with my pinkie extended into the air.

It's usually 2-3 beers on 2-3 of the weekdays, 5 or 6 per day tops on most weekends. College football Saturdays, however, are a whole different story. I usually only drink on the weekends during football season.

I only drink one at a time. But it is followed by another, and then another, and then another. Sometimes another.
More anothers on the weekend. I will not be donating my liver.

Are your "drinks" 12 oz. bottles/cans, a pint at the local watering hole, bombers...? For instance, the wife and I are in a mug club at the local brewery so three "drinks" could end up being 75 oz. My preference is smaller servings and more variety but after 30 oz. my frugal side kicks in...

Yes, drinks being 12 oz is what most people are referring to. They consider bombers 2 beers, growlers 5, etc.

I usually go for about 1-2 a couple weeknights when I don't have to wake up the next morning too early then 3-4 on weekends average. Anymore and I'm not even enjoying the beer for the beer...just the alcohol. Might as well drink cheap booze after that.

    Depends on how much I have and %abv...probably averages 3-5 12oz or 1-2 22oz.

I go by my doctors rule, 3 beers per session/1session per day keeps the doctor away :astonished:

For me depends on the circumstances. Due to family obligations.... Son's sports practices, daughters dance classes. drinking is usually reserved for Fri and Sat. If I am home, maybe one or two on those days. If it's a family function or holiday, maybe 3 or 4. If I could get a great IPA with all the taste without any alcohol that drinking number would absolutely go up. The effects of alcohol I wouldn't miss. It's the taste I couldn't give up.

In using the week day to weekend scale, and since I run a restaurant so my weekends are a little but different than others, I'd say Fri- Tues about 1 a night, and Wed-Thurs around 4 a night. ...I did however have 4 liters at the BrauHaus in Philly on Friday which is roughly 136oz. That's an incredible rarity ...(although it was f*cking awesome and delicious).

Around 1 or 2 on weekdays, at most.

On weekends, I try to stick to around 4-5 at most. It's more to me about the variety than slugging down a whole pint of only 3 beers. I'd prefer to maybe have 1/3 to 1/2 of a pint and then move onto something else. Great to share with friends this way, especially at a bar like Torst.

My fiancé likes to limit me at 3, however it tends to sneak up to 5. I am newer to craft beer and drinking new and different beers is too irresistible to stop at just 1 or 2. But, I have a low body fat percentage so a high tolerance and usually 5 is the limit to feel just fine the next day. Party times (6-8 times a year) will definitely call for around 10+ but after the 6 pack of craft brews I bring I will be drinking your boring American adjunct lagers, by that time Bud Light is going down like purified water after a month long vacation in the desert.

I (for the most part) don't drink beer at breakfast time. That's my coffee time. And, yes. I do like a good coffee stout.

On work nights I'll have 1-2. During the weekend it can be anywhere from 3-7 depending how early the festivities begin.

    Typically....

    Friday night - 6
    Saturday night - 6
    Sunday afternoon - 2
    Monday- Thursday - 0

(all of the above are counted as 12 oz. 5% beers. If it's a bomber of 5% I count it as two beers. If it's a 7.5% 12oz, I count it is a one and a half beers, etc., etc.)

Man, I haven't hit double digits since college.

I'd guess my average abv is probably around 7.1% or so. So, with that as a baseline I'll usually do 1-2/weeknight, 3-4 on Friday, 4-5 on Saturday and 2-4 on Sunday, with a couple nights off mixed it. That probably equals out to roughly three 5% beers on weeknights and 5-7 on weekends, if we're going by 'standard guidelines'.

Even in college getting up to 10+ made for a terrible next day. I don't know how some of you can handle it.
