I'm at 97 at the moment. There seems to be some turnover in the lower quarter of the list which makes it change all the time.

Heh my taste in beer does not change with the season, it only diversifies so I understand that. Takes a while to get it all figured out.

50, greatly aided by being in Southern California and having such easy access to some of the world's best IPAs (and everything from the Bruery). Still plenty left to try, though!

My guess is any at least one of the TG stouts and/or GI Baudoinia.

I'm not really a ticker, but I looked out of curiosity. I've only had 67 total but it looks like I've had half of the top 20.

Well if you ever need help knocking some off the list let me know. I can get you Heady Topper and Hill Farmstead I live right next door so to speak. HFS has quite a few on that list.

Just counted 74. There's a few on there I see every now and again and haven't had. I guess I should pick them up and expand my horizons. Then again there's a few on there I'll never have the chance of trying. :-(

117 - I'd like to give a +1 because I've had the Fifty Fifty Eclipse Elijah Craig 20 yr- which has the same rating or a little better than the 12 yr

    8 of the top 10
    16 of the top 20

Im not too interested in chasing the barleywines and haven't really went after anything in particular on the list in over a year.

I've been fortunate enough to have PtY 3 times but Duck Duck Gooze has eluded me for years.

Interested in trying/trading for some Hill Farmstead soon.

I was going after cable car on my honey moon but couldn't talk my husband into going to the toronado

87! Looking to try as many as possible, but some obviously are impossible unless you own a private jet and a boatload of cash to go to bottle releases across the country all year

Used to the in the 230's but I don't trade much these days, so it has dipped down to 210. Have ~7 lined up from awesome friends willing to share, a pre-bought beer, or in my beer fridge.

I've had a fair number but the list is just pure heroin to the hardcore ticker. And that ain't advocacy.

yes on both but my two daughters were away at college the last 4 years which gave me a little extra time to myself. now i can share my cool stuff with the one who moved back in.

i've been rating for almost 8 years now and have been lucky enough to have great trading partners. plus i'm in Philly where if you can't find it in stores it's sure to pop up on tap at Philly Beer Fest.

Looks like I am at 233 right now, drank or have in cellar.

Missing: PtY, MD, KBBS, Cali Hunah, Baudoninia, Assassin, BM PvW, Great, Julius, Keene, Kern 5th, Life is Like, Societe Pupil, VSB, Kiwi Rising, Wulver, Cumbre Elevated.

Some of those are gonna be real tough gets. But some of em, just need to do a bit of trading.

98 so far, have roughly another dozen or so in the cellar or coming in via trades to try soon enough.

Couldn't agree more - that list is a sure route to disappointment and an empty wallet! My own ticking impulse is more than satisfied by slowly working through the British and German top 50 - very few ultra-rare, expensive releases, and a lot of incredible beer! Just a pity that a fair number of the current British 50 are only distributed in the US... And that there are so many goddamn Ola Dubh variants!
  36. Zimbo

    Zimbo Aug 7, 2010 Scotland

You know it. And the not so impossible to find Ola Dubh 1991 is a absolute cracker.

That's good to know - the 18 is the best I've had so far, but have been saving up the 30 for Christmas. Can't quite justify ordering 1991 from the website, but will look out for it next time I'm in Edinburgh. Right, now I'll stop hijacking the thread..

Currently at 29 reviewed. Probably have drank 10 more, and have at least 3 more on deck. I don't really try for the top 250, mostly just use it for suggestions, and ignore most of the whales. I somewhat try for the Beers of Fame, where I'm at 38 (was just 39 yesterday, haha). Still, not going to kill myself to try and get all 100 of those either. Not bad in my opinion for only reviewing 205 beers so far.
