2 I live in IL but I'm much closer to St. Louis MO than Chicago so most of the local craft beer is from St. Louis.

56 of CO's... I'm pretty happy with that, but now have some more to seek out.

Nice, I had no idea they had state lists! In Minnesota I've had 98 of 100! The only ones I've missed are Double Day Tripper and Auroch's Horn with Rhubarb.

I have to agree with the NEBCO comment; they are producing quality beers! I noticed you had a Zapata Bot; would you be willing to trade?

45 for CT . Some real stinkers on that list, though.

21, but Iowa only has 60. Made up of about 4 breweries
  9. vshay

Pennsylvania and I've had 24 of them
  10. Providence

Providence Crusader (713) Feb 24, 2010 Rhode Island

And it looks like a dozen of them are from Narragansett, which does little of the actual brewing in Rhode Island.

As for that list, a quick looks tells me I've had all but a half dozen or so.

    LambicPentameter Initiate (0) Aug 29, 2012 Nebraska

    30 out of 47 for Kansas (64%)

69 out of 100 for Missouri (since I currently live five minutes from the state line)

42 out of 100 for Michigan (since I will be living there in three weeks)

To be honest, I'm surprised that my percentage is higher for Missouri, what with the low number of beers for Kansas and the fact that I've only had a few from Side Project.
  12. HuskyHawk

    HuskyHawk Initiate (0) Jun 5, 2014 Massachusetts

I've had 37 from MA, but the list includes a lot of beers that aren't generally available.

29 - and I'd question the legitimacy for some of those being in the top 100.

83 from California. I'm calling it out of 99 because that Zeus Imperial IPA being on there is total bullshit.

I haven't had it yet but why do you think its BS?

Since I'm moving I've been trying to rack up as many Cali beers before I move to Alabama. I'm up to 84. I cant imagine getting a hold of Westly, Great, and Cable Car before I leave but one can dream.
  23. SLOCruzin

If you look at the written reviews, especially ones from last year, you'll notice a pretty high percentage of them are from fake accounts. Quotes like "Vest beer I ever drink!!!" (real quote) look a little suspicious, for one. And you'll notice a whole lot of 5's being given. If you click on those user profiles, most of those users have only reviewed one beer in their history on BA and that beer is Zeus. Seems to me like someone (read:the brewery or friends of the brewers) wanted to inflate those scores a bit to give a crappy beer some hype. Full disclosure, I'm not taking credit for finding this. That would be He Who Must Not Be Named on BA.

Same with me! Only 10 here. It seems to be the common PA theme thus far in the thread...

Same here. While I'm 28 for PA, I'm 29 for Delaware.

A couple other states I'm almost as high as well - New York 27, Colorado 26, and Michigan 25.

38 of 42 for me in Rhode Island. I just ignored many of the Newport Storm crap beers. And the rest are.... eh....

67 of 100 in Mass though. Much better stuff there.
  29. TurkeyFeathers

TurkeyFeathers Initiate (0) Jun 22, 2014 New York

    Just looked at AK
Anchorage brewing , Alaskan brewing and Midnight Sun hold almost all if not all 48 beers listed. Not much diversification there lol Or should I say breweries?!
  30. SudsDoctor

SudsDoctor Disciple (344) Nov 23, 2008 New York

Only 11 out of NY's Top 100, from only 4 breweries (Brooklyn, Sixpoint, Ommegang, Capt. Lawrence). I'm not much of a ticker and I don't want to get too parochial in my beer selections, so I'm not going to worry about getting to 12 or above.
If it happens it will happen by chance.

I'm at 32 for CT. There are some stinkers on the list, yes, but the vote minimum is 37 for CT. Some of the better rated brews will overtake lower quality offerings when enough people have had the opportunity to try them and contribute a rating (or better yet an actual review).
  33. JLaw55

    JLaw55 Meyvn (1,194) Jul 10, 2014 Missouri

I've actually had 98/100 of Connecticut's list. Some beers shouldn't be on that list, imo.
