    This spring, I had my first beer brewed in Wyoming as I bought two cans at Black Tooth Brewing Company in Cheyenne. All I need is one more state (Go South Dakota!) to have at least one beer from all 50, which got me wondering who else on here has already accomplished the feat.

    Of course, this doesn't include D.C. or any U.S. territories or protectorates.

    This was one of my early quests on BA. I managed to complete that one (50+DC) as well as the "style" quest (114). I managed to obtain a few of the harder-to-get ones through trading, but being in the right place at the right time (looking at you, West Virginia) helped as well.
    I suppose I could do the math on this if I wasn't so lazy. :wink:

    WV is tough because while there are a handful of breweries around the State, my understanding is none distro out of WV. I’d be happy to send you some beer the next time I’m at my house in Charleston WV. Cheers!

    29. I have the western and eastern states covered. The middle states (other than Minnesota, Illinois, Arkansas, and Texas)...not so much.

    Since I'm not a trader nor specifically look for beers from other states, I will most likely have to visit them

    Just being lighthearted. None of the poll choices fit me! When it comes to drinking and not reviewing, I am more drawn to ticking countries than states. I am not good at keeping track, but I think it's at least 50 in that department... and I can't say I'm really compelled to see that number climb. You should consider figuring out what percentage of the states of Germany you've had a beer from.

    I've had a beer from all 50 states plus DC but, per the BA stats, I've only reviewed 22 of them. I've also had a beer while visiting 46 states, but again only 22 of them were reviewed per the stats.

    What irks me is that before I got into craft, I traveled for work a lot. I could have had all 50 states, and more countries.

    I got Nevada thanks to IPA Fest in Cyberspace, giving me 51 including, of course, DC. I’d guess I reviewed one in at least 48 of those. I think Arkansas and Alabama (maybe Mississippi) came from trade partners or BIFs without the state tick being the reason for the trade. I’m nowhere near trying 50 beers in their state of origin, though.

    33 states “ticked”. I don’t review everything so it’s hard to say if I’ve reviewed from that many. I’m far more concerned with trying all the great breweries that continue to pop up in Michigan than I am trying beers from elsewhere. Cheers.

    40. Considering we get about 3 states distributed here on a good day, I count that as 58 or so. Also, West Virginia is is in the bag, so I’m guessing the remaining States will be a breeze!

    That seems to be a theme for a lot of people. I've been to Nevada numerous times but not since I joined BA.

    Alaskan brewing does. I've had Alaska Smoked porter - I've just apparently never reviewed it?

    I also have an anchorage beer I need to review.

    some of those other ones though - they're gonna be harder.

    All 50 + Washington DC (and 88 countries. All done without any trading.

    I guess that I have been lucky to travel to (or through) the tough states to get - WV, ND, and SD. I have also reviewed/rated Places in 21 states and 4 countries but heavily leveraged the distribution available in the states I have visited to find all of the states.

    I'm missing Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and South Dakota. Participating in BIFs has really helped me with some of hard-to-find states.

    Jumped in without fully reading. I chose 36 as I have had a beer from 36 states, at least based on BA. If I used Untappd it would be more. Reviews beers I have no idea how many states, maybe 10?

    For NM, see if you can get some Elevated IPA from La Cumbre. it's among the best in class for me.
