How much of BA do you use?

I generally browse the forums, and spend most of my time in Beer Talk, UK & Ireland, Breweriana and Home Bar.
I will check beers and styles on a semi-regular basis though, but other than that I don't use an awful lot of the site/app.

I frequent the reviews sections for both Beers and Places, and second the folks saying Places is incredibly helpful when traveling - that's how I found Hessen Haus and the Red Monk in Des Moines, John's Grocery in Iowa City, Bier Station and Kansas City Bier Co. in KC, and so forth. The Beer Styles page also gets an occasional visit.

As far as the forums go, it's mostly Beer Talk and Beer News for me. I'll occasionally pop into the Great Lakes region, and less frequently check out the Midwest region (since my girlfriend is trying her hardest to get us to move to Iowa).

I spend a lot of time in the Beer Talk and New England forums. I tend to also use it when I am traveling, getting recommendations for breweries and bars to visit.

 

I rarely look at reviews, although I use that section when I see new beers I'm unfamiliar with.
I mainly use the site for Beer Talk, Mountain Forum, Germany Forum, and messaging services.

 

I review beers I drink and read random forums. While I homebrew, I don't frequent those forums. I'm also not really a trader, so I don't go there.

I use the forums regularly to discuss new releases. With all the travelling I've been doing for work I use the Places reviews and the regional forums for ideas. I check the ratings as well for suggestions. The Events I check rarely (they aren't populated often; I'm often adding the local ones here). I'm not a trader (on BA) so that section I don't check.

 

Not nearly enough. I need to contribute far more to discussions and what not. I'm usually only trolling through beer trading and the Midwest boards for releases and what not. Being up to date on most of the happenings is a full time job though and I've been very lazy of late.

I don't rate on here anymore since the forced switch to the 5-attributes so I spend a lot less time reading reviews or looking up scores than I used to. I still enjoy the forums, though.

I mainly just look up beers I'm discussing with other beer-loving friends to judge whether it's a good one or not. I also like the "what beer are you drinking now"-forum, just for discovery of new beers I'd like to drink.

 

I also like the food forum, being a big food nut even more so... however it's pretty quiet and not very active from time to time.
