ok so, sorry guys. been off BA for quite a long time, had a couple bad experiences on here and got crazy busy with work so have been gone for a lil while. Umm, well, I guess as long as I get the beers its cool. It was a little weird because when everything happened he kind of kept pushing off our trade and then finally we agreed to ship. i sent my package and then blammo never heard back from him. So, I thought about having the package rerouted (we live quite far away so it was like 5 days of shipping) but honestly i had 30$ worth of beer and over 20$ already tied into shipping and then they would've charge me another $20 to have it shipped back. I ended up deciding screw it and let the box send. It was the weirdest thing ever because for 3 weeks I got no response then suddenly the dude texts me apologizing and saying hes gonna make things right and hes sorry and blah blah. Well, another week goes by and I start reaching out again and then I havent heard from him since then. Look, if he sends me the beers, then whatever its cool, and i messaged him with my addy and info. Honestly though, I'm not holding my breath here considering this has already happened multiple times. If he sends the box I will post the contents in a picture and let everyone know but until then I strongly suggest not trading with him.

edit - to update anyone confused by all this. Jayeblue24 ripped me off on a trade a few months ago and got about $30 worth of beer from me (altogether not counting time or material it was over $50 after factoring shipping, but you guys know how that goes) and I havent heard from him until now because he is back and my buddy PA called him out and then he created a thread saying he is going to make things right. then people said they wanted me to chime in so here is my response. sorry for the delay

 

also, why was the thread he created claiming he's not a bad trader deleted? I'm just wondering.

 

@TheRemyLeabeau I remember that guy glad to hear the other side of the story.
@Jayeblue24 did you delete the last thread? He was catching some heat about it cause he had an i dont care attitude about the whole thing. I hope he sends you your beer plus a lot of extras for the long delay.

Not really sure what you're implying? With the exception of my recent hiatus I have always had great communication...? The only time I delayed a trade was with medvicdog because within a week a childhood friend and my grandmother passed away. I sent the beers and he wasn't sending mine until months later anyways so it isn't like I kept the guy hangin or ripped him off... Don't mean to be defensive I just don't think I did anything wrong and honestly have been attacked multiple times on here (not saying your message was an attack in anyway, just rationalizing why I am acting defensive). I seem to rub people the wrong way on this site.

Just giving you a hard time...his post was in a very similar, rambling style to the way you write, at first I honestly thought you might be the same person posting under different handles & started to laugh thinking this was a long con. No offense intended & I hope you get your beer!

 

ok so, I couldn't find this thread at first and as a result I made my own thread. Long story short I am hoping he does send me the beers. But to be honest, I am not holding my breath, he has on 2 other occasions apologized profusely and swore he would send my beers only to both times fall back off the map. I'm just being honest, I mean if the guy sends the beers I'll post a pic and then hey if people want to trade with him thats fine. Maybe just have him ship first, but yeah like I said I'm not holding my breath here and I definitely would not advise anyone to trade with him until I can verify that he sent the owed beers.

 

lol sorry man i am running on limited sleep and working about 60-70 hours a week lol. looking back on it I can definitely see how I came across that way lol. Yeah like I said i definitely never like to come across as defensive but I have just had multiple crazy experiences on this site so I have unfortunately come to expect the worst... all good tho, cheers my friend!

There is certainly a similar rambling style in their writing and their avatars contain notable similarities. Wouldn't it be hilarious if this was a long con attempting to get an unsuspecting BA to send some beer to "make things right." I don't think that is what is actually happening, but it would be pretty epic.

 

Seriously guys? With the exception of me not capitalizing after a period how can you even compare? Don't mean to be rude but its almost insulting to me. Yes, I ramble but jesus he was speaking in tongues in that first post lol...

 

At first I was confused about what on earth I could possibly be conning in this situation but lol no I am not in it for the long con and yes this dude did rip me off. No, no one needs to send any beer to make things right and yes I am quite sure he is not going to send me my beers. I hope he does and will post if so but yeah I'm not counting on it. Also, if you look through my post history you would see I'm the opposite of some guy looking to get free beers to make things right. I know you're just joshin but I still had to acknowledge it in case anyone actually believed that.

 

Very confused by all of this. This thread has the potential to turn into an all time great!
