When did they start making the etched glasses every year? Would have to be around this time I thought.

1994 was the first year. I got started with my fondness of Winter Ales in 1995 and somehow have not managed to add this pint to my collection. I also missed out on the 2011 glass also...

I hope you don't have a beer collecting/hoarding habit as well. 600 pint glasses is insane! You should post a pic of them.

I only wish I could display all of them. I do keep them nice and tidy in the Libby shipping boxes..24 per case !!
Probably more like 350 pints glasses with various chalices and other glasses adding up to 600

600 is quite a feat. I have about 100 glasses and mugs but there are not only pint glasses, although that makes up about 85% of the collection. The rest are specialized glassware such as tulips, goblets, dimpled mugs, shot glasses, Kolsch, and pilsener glasses. Perobably my rarest one is a 1991 Catamount Ethan Allen Ale pint glass (in honor of the State of Vermont's Bicentenniel).

I will officially be refering my wife to your post when she gets on me for my collection of about 60 pints, you have me by 10x that amount! I have a few winter/Christmas pints but unfortunately no duplicates that I would be willing to part with at the time. I would love to see some pics of your collection. Most of mine are below:

Sorry duce, the Balto is one of my favs. I had actually originally purchased two directly from the brewery years ago but the second chipped during shipping so I had tossed it. There are def a few I'd be willing to part with (Mac & Jack, Kirin, Blue Point, Oregon Trail) if anyone is interested in a trade or sale.

You should take pictures of them individually and put them up on a social media site like Facebook or MySpace so you would have an online inventory so people that have trades would know which ones you have and which ones you have duplicates of. I like to try different beers and started taking a picture of each one I am able to bring home and enjoy and take my time drinking, I put them on MySpace so I can access it where ever I am.
http://www.myspace.com/my/photos/album/1291830 if you did that with your glasses and made a note with each one as to quantity you have and any other pertinent information it would make your trading much easier for you and for those that want to trade with you.

Thanks! I was seriously considering building my own display, but at the time my wife and I were moving into a new house and the last thing I needed was another project. I picked that display up from Display Shack for like $70 and had an instant piece for above my little bar in the basement.

I'm looking for more display cases / ideas. I'm open to building my own, and I'm fairly crafty, but I'm lacking any serious tools. Anyone seen any other good display cases for purchase or ideas for relatively easy to build ones without too many tools?

Wish I'd seen this before I moved a few months ago. I donated a bunch of old Flying Saucer Pint classes that I collected over the course of 3 plates.
