No idea, but I hope I never know. I do have sinus issues and all that, but I could still taste things. Just not as well as without having a sinus attack. I rarely drink much when the rare days hit I am forced to take something.

As terrifying a prospect as that is it might save me a ton of money. I would still drink a beer for "medicinal" Purposes but the brand and flavor no longer being a factor would send me to the bargain brands every time.

I don't drink a large amount when I do drink. I prefer quality over quantity so if the quality no longer came into play then I would probably not bother with it much at all. OP hope your sinus issues are better and stay that way!

Since I normally drink beer primarily for the flavor, if I lost all sense of taste the only reason to drink at all would be for the buzz. So it would likely just be liquor on the rocks (likely cheap vodka), shots of liquor or mixed drinks.


On the bright side, if I couldn't taste worth a damn I would likely be eating much, much healthier, and I think that goes for a few billion other people too. Hello broccoli and raw spinach!
