I was about to come on and say , “I told you so”, then I saw negronis also listed…..

 

I used to crave bitter beverages. But then I became mature and that coincided with me becoming a malt-head. So, does that mean that I've been cured... or that I've just gotten older?

 

I like IPAs and black coffee, two things I have in common with psychopaths. That, and being a psychopath.

When I visited Chicago for the first time last year, my friend tried to order me a "surprise shot". He was the one who was surprised when I guessed that it was Malört and actually didn't hate it when I shot it back. Guess I must be a psycho

 

I'm not a fan of IPAs or pilsners and I don't drink gin either but I'm still a psycho because:

- I drink my tea almost always black and with no sugar or milk but sometimes lemon and my espresso or cappuccino/latte with no sugar
- when looking for lemonade in the store I read the label of all of them to pick the one with the least sugar content
- I like ginger beer but I never order it at local bars because the most common around here is too sweet
- if I'm hosting a summer gathering I make my own lemonade and almost every time my guests ask for extra sugar
- probably the white sugar package in my pantry right now is past its date -- the brown isn't because I use it for caramelized/pickled onions

 

Wait most women don’t like IPAs but seems some are quite psycho..I think more research is needed..heading to fridge for a Sip of Sunshine

 

Stout fans rejoice. We're too busy slowly sipping a 12% bomb by the fire while nodding off to do psycho things.

 

Everyone who doesn't like mega bitter IPA's the most is a psycho in my opinion. Seriously, how does anything else compare? It doesn't

After a long day of violent mayhem nothing goes down smoother than a nice hazy, although some of my other personalities prefer a pilsner. No, we don't. Yes, we do. Ignore them...we do not.....

Must be true because everyone thinks I'm nuckin' futs for being so sick of IPAs already.
I do enjoy a very well made one, but dang, not every beer, every time!
So many other great brews out there to expand your horizons.

Pretty sure the studies didn't rule out the possibility of severe personality disorders linked to enjoyment of those beverages, just didn't link them in (yet?).

 

Pretty sure Madtree knew this when naming their flagship IPA...
