Immediate Philly Airport area?

Nothing right near the airport. But if you drive over to South Philly by the stadiums, Xfinity Live just opened and the new Victory Beer Garden is supposed to be cool. 5 to 10 minute drive from the airport.

 

If you don't want to use a car there is a Regional Rail train into the city (20 min ride) and several nice places within walking distance of one of the center city train stations. There's even a nice place with 8-10 rotating taps in the main train station at 30th Street.

 

In Essington there's a bar called Coaches off the main road, it's a decent sports bar with a dozen or so taps and fridges full of six packs. Great wings too. Not a great variety, but if you're trying to stay within a mile or so of the ariport, this is your best option. So close you can see the runways.

Chickie's & Pete's is another option. Huge sports bar by the stadiums. Lots of beers on tap. Cheap cap ride from airport.

 

just take the regional rail into center city. best bet. check out monk's (belgian beer), farmers' cabinet (terry's beer and lots of de molen / struisse currently), resurrection ale house (a bit of everything), and brauhaus schmitz (best german beer selection in the US).
