Hate to report it, but I just opened one, and it's infected. The only bad one I've gotten so far out of the half case I've opened. Hope it's an isolated incident...

    Eric -

Did you contact the brewery? Or open another bottle to check?
What are you getting out of the bottle that leads you to believe it's infected?

Having one right now, and definitely no infection in this one.

I opened one up tonight, and when I started pouring it, it foamed up like crazy. Upon trying it there were definitely off flavors. Like I said, I've drank half a case and this was the only one that was bad. Might be isolated.

Had quite a bit of PM this year and have yet to find any signs of infection.

I feel like this thread might be jumping the gun a little.

Last year's batch did seem to have issues... I haven't bought any of this year's for fear of more issues...
I want more reports on this!

No issues so far with this year's batch. Although I only picked up 2 4-packs this year.

This years batch is fucking top notch, I've been rationing it pretty hard. No signs of infection here though.

I've drank about a 12pk of this year's batch and I think it's better than ever, no bad bottles. Though I won't be aging any just in case, drinking to good fresh anyway.

I haven't tasted any sign of infection. Last years didn't start to show until weeks after it was released and grew gradually.

0 signs of infection on my end. Just tastes like V@S with some barrel character.

I got one extra'd to me in a box and it was seriously good stuff. Noticed the bottle said Peruvian morning brand stout, has always been called that?

    I want more PMBS!

Good to hear I'm the only one who has had an issue. Might just be a bad one mix in every now and then.

Once a beer gets a 'rap' for being infected, it can be tough to shake.

Only great bottles for me to date.

After talking to the guys at the release party, it would seem next to impossible for another infected batch. Isolated incident, please stop this nonsense...

I had one the othe night and the flavor seemed off. But then I looked at the label and saw it was a BBBW, which explained why it didn't taste like PM. DUH...

I had one a few nights ago that tasted a bit different than the other 4 packs I've had. Not saying it's infected, it just tasted a lot harsher than every other PM I've had so far.

Off -topic - am I the only one sitting on an actually infected 2012 waiting to see what it turns into in five years? I have a mild soft spot for weirdly infected beers, granted I didn't pay through the nose for em. I actually ended up liking that infected chocolate thing from boulevard.
