Hey Everyone I'll be in downtown PDX for my honeymoon in two weeks starting October 2nd to October 5th then up to Vancouver and in Seattle October 8th and 9th. The fiance, soon to be wife, is letting me bring some beer to trade. I've got some Founders KBS, Frangelic Mountain Brown, Imperial Stout, and Backwoods Bastard to offer up. I could also bring some local favorites from Southern Tier or Ithaca Brewing if that works too. I think I can easily fit up to 4 bottles in my suitcase so if you want to work out a trade. I'd be willing to do up to 2 bottles KBS but 1 of the rest. I'm most interested in beers that I can't get in New York State like BA stouts, fresh IPA's etc. Shoot me a BM if interested with offers. I don't normally trade but I've done a bunch of IP trades with BA user Plenum if you're looking for a reference.

I was planning on hitting up Deschutes, Hair of the Dog, Apex, Belmont Station and maybe Horse Brass if I have time so we could do a trade at any of those places. Thanks everyone.

(If this should be in the trading forum I apologize I just thought I could get more interest in the Northwest Forum)

As another native East Coaster, I'd suggest Dublin Pub as well, if you're a hophead. No bottles, but amazing drafts. It's in SW Portland. Make sure you pick up some Ninkasi at Belmont Station.

Just a caution about Horse Brass. They tend to do better with stouts/heavier beers, but they keep their IPAs and Plinys too warm for my taste. Then again, it is beer mecca, and one of the bartenders loves Yeungling (hint). I do love Apex - great selection for all tastes.

I'd also suggest getting a wine "shipper" - you can put 12-18 beers in those, perfectly safe.

You have to add many other stops while you're here.
