Plan to brew an ipa using nugget/galaxy hops this weekend. Please let me know what you think of the combo and schedule below:

    FWH- .80 oz Nugget

    20 min- 1oz galaxy
    10 min- 1oz galaxy
    5 min- 1oz galaxy
    0 min- 1 oz galaxy.

Will be using simple grain bill with just some crystal 40L

    thanks!

Looks fine as is. My personal preference would be to move that 20min addition to the FO.

Are you planning to dry hop?

I have one that just went to tap that used something simiar though I used Millennium as bittering and also the first dry hop then dry hopped with 2 oz of Galaxy. Used 88% Pale Malt, 8% Cane Sugar, 4% C-15. My hop schedule looked like this:

    60min- .50 Millennium
    20min- .50 Galaxy
    10min- 1.75 oz Galaxy
FO with WP- 1.75 oz Galaxy
    1st DH- 1.50 oz Millenium
2nd DH in Keg 2.00 Galaxy.

I really loved the results with the first pint I pulled last night. It was a slight switch up with the way I normally apply Galaxy and I though it worked well. Yours is very close to this and I have no doubt will turn out well.

No 20 min addition. Dry hop it.

Is 0 minutes the same as flameout?

    Yes.

That being said, there are different approaches to the FO hop addition, whether that's shut off flame, add hops and chill immediately, or chill to 180, then add hops, or even shut off flame, add hops, whirlpool at 200-205 for x minutes, etc. There's a recent thread discussing on the various methods.

I would add some nuggets to the aroma or flavor of this beer for the name to be amore fitting  , not much character coming out in a bittering addition. My $.02

I like a 20 min, 7.5 min, 0 min late addition schedule myself.
